Like that it can be left for 10 years, no flat battery alarm. Awkward to fit on its base, but manageable, easily sorted

Small but mighty
The media could not be loaded. This is quite a teeny fire alarm but does the job well, I managed to panic my husband upstairs at the other side of the house as forgot to warn him I was testing it when putting it up.we’ve got this in our conservatory as have our washer and dryer out there. I like how small it is because you can sneak it into more spaces without it being much of an eyesore.I used sticky pads (not included) to stick it to the door frame so I could reach it if needed to turn off for any false alarms or to test. Thankfully we’ve had no false (or real) alarms go off other than me testing it so seems to cope well with the varying temperatures and humidities. Hopefully this lasts into the summer as it does get quite hot in there!

Works well, but as a sealed unit it must be scrapped when battery runs out
Fixing the backplate is easy enough whether using screws or sticky pads. The alarm operates as soon as it is clipped on to the backplate. Noise level is adequate enough to wake me from sleep. Smoke alarms are commodity devices and this one is quite expensive compared with others which do the job at half the price with the added advantage that they are likely to have replaceable batteries. I am not keen on devices which have to go to recycling simply because the battery has died.

Easy to install & reasonably loud (See Video)
The media could not be loaded. A well priced Fire Alarm that is easy to install ... You can use the screws provided or it could be held up with a decent adhesive sticky pad (Not supplied) As the battery is non removeable & a 10 year lifespan once it's up it stays there .Once the backing plate is installed you simply push the alarm onto the backing plate & twist & this will then activate the alarm.To test a simple push on the button on the front will sound the alarm.Build quality seems very good being made of strong plastic.Very simple .... But a lifesaver .Hope this helps

Awful
Alarm keeps going off day and night for no apparent reason. Awful.
