I actually had a different type before that fixed to the dash and which I really liked. It didn't charge or anything, but you have to run a cable to it anyway, so much of a muchness. That one came off the dash and it also required a metal plate on the case which interfered with other Q chargers. So I went with this one. It fixes to the vent. The only problem I find with these types of holders, and I've had several (like for holding drinks or phones) in the past, is that they're too heavy for most vents. So don't expect the vent to stay upright at any angle when you put your phone on it. It also requires a metal plate but the plate is a type that allows it to Q charge. I think that's where I'm losing charge as it just keeps it charged, but doesn't really charge it further than what it's at. That's very possibly because the case is a little thicker, though they do say it's for those phones with cases (it's a light rubber, see through case, so not that thick). I've often just run the cable to the phone instead of the device. It does hold the phone well, though, really well. I'm quite surprised and happily so. Another partial negative is that it's not so easy to align the metal plate at the back. It has adhesive on the plate to stick to the phone and you need to align it well with the Q plate within the phone. But once that plate hits the back of the phone, you're done. It's not magnetic itself so it doesn't just align on its own and once it sticks you can't move it. That could be another reason it's not charging as well as it should. I do find that the Q chargers I have at home don't charge my phone as fast, so likely, it's my fault. Would I recommend it? Yes, if you don't need the plate or if you are really good at aligning it to something that you can't actually see (which is the problem, there's still some guessing involved on the plate placement). It would be good if they include templates for different phones. Oh, and it reads on the description that it'll work with an iPhone 13 mini, but the manual says it doesn't. There is a little card inside which says it does, so it's a little confusing.

Great phone mount, very strong magnet it hold my phone very sturdily and also charges it no problem, the vent mount is great in my car but not so good in my van as the fins of the vent are long vertical so it tends to slide down eventually, but horizontal vents work great, I’ve not used the stick on mount so unsure on how good that is but overall I’m well pleased with this mount and how easy it is to use, I will be buying another for my other vehicle 😊

Very easy to install, i use the clip onto my vent which is tuff and hangs on very well, I've used this over a 2 months now almost everyday and on car journeys, I use my phone for sat nav and music at the same time and on longer car journeys it will charge my phone to 100%, its not fast charge, but I don't have it for that purpose I have it for holding my phone, the magnetic connect is really good and the sticker side to my phone is still there holding on brilliantly despite my 13 year olds best efforts to throw in on to connect, and ripping it off to use after his phone dies, overall product is great and does the job, I put the magnet on the back of my phone and I don't believe it would charge with my case on but I spend alot of time in my car so the case isn't necessary, my only like for future product would be to have fast charge capability but otherwise id still rate this in the high 90% overall.

I have been looking for a wireless charger for my car for a long time and i came across this one by chance. I am glad i tried it as it also came with a magnet plate to stick on any phone that has wireless charging but doesn't have MagSafe. The magnet plate works well with the charger but it cannot be easily moved once stuck, so be very careful where you put it.The charging is good, it is not fast charging, but it is quick for wireless charging.Personally i did not use the A/C grill clip as my cars A/C grill weren't in the right place, but it does look strong.I used the sticky pad and it has stuck excellently with the pad contorting to the dashboard. and is still stuck strong after a month of use.

This is a great MagSafe charger – It holds the phone really well – the way it clamps onto the air vent is really good as I don’t get any wobble when the phone is on it - my old car mount used to wobble so this is a really good upgrade from my old one – I also purchase a 30w car charger for it to be plugged into as you won’t get a fast charge – I tested how many watts the charger charges the phone at with a USB current meter and it was 10w on my iPhone 14 Pro which I’m happy with – This charger holds my iPhone 14 Pro with the case on great – The only disappointment is when you put the iPhone on charge it doesn’t play the MagSafe animation
