The build quality is excellent, and they feel very solid and well built
Superb fan, highly impressed. After completing a new pc build, I ended up purchasing 2 of these to put onto a Noctua NHU-12 CPU cooler. The build quality is excellent, and they feel very solid and well built. The fan cable is of perfect length, giving enough flex to get to the motherboard connector, but not too much so you are having to try and tuck it away. The cable is also nicely covered to protect the wires and make it more aesthetically pleasing.Performance wise it is excellent, and it is very hard to notice it making any sound until you hit at least 80% speed, which to be honest in my setup at least is very rare and only under extreme stress when overclocking. Normally they are running anywhere from 30%-70% and my CPU (Core i7 6770k has never exceeded 46 degrees celsius even when clocked to 4.6 Ghz). The only thing I must highlight here is that to ensure the fans are running optimally and quiet, is to ensure that in your BIOS you make sure that the fans are set to run in PWM mode not DC. When I first installed them and my pc booted they span up very fast and made a lot of noise, but once I had adjusted them to PWM the issue was resolved.Overall very happy with my purchase, yes they aren't cheap but they are well built, quiet, and cool very effectively with a reassuring 6 year warranty.

These fans are amazing. I have one cooling my Ryzen 7 1700X
These fans are amazing. I have one cooling my Ryzen 7 1700X, and it does an excellent job. The fans construction is of a very high quality you can feel it as soon as you hold the fan for the first time. The fan is quiet up to around 1200 RPM, after this the noise increases quickly, but that's to be expected of an industrial fan. The price is expensive but you get what you pay for. Recommended.

Great static pressure fans, the best?
Used 2 of these to replace stock SP120 fans on Corsair H80i GT. Results are brilliant and very very quiet.Under load fans now run at around 900rpm PWM compared to the the stock fans at around 1300rpm PWM. In turbo mode via ASUS Fan Expert 3, fans can hardly be heard at standard mode virtually inaudible!CPU temperatures are consistent with those provided with the stock fans and stable at circa 28 degrees.Changed the standard brown Noctua anti-vibration mounts for Red Noctua Chromax mounts - these look pretty good in a black and red themed HAF-X build.Fans are easy to fit and come with good quality braided 4 pin cables, these are much longer than the Corsair cables. Allowing them to be neatly routed through to the back of the case - before there was a mass of un-braided shiny black cable behind the Radiator/Fan assembly in amongst the back of the I/0 and VRM shrouding.May be expensive, but well worth the money!

A brand that has built it's popularity about making good quality, long lasting and well built fans
Expensive definitely but you mostly get what you pay for. A brand that has built it's popularity about making good quality, long lasting and well built fans. Additionally a lot of care goes into the packaging of the item, the item comes in a nice box unlike many cheaper options around. This fan also comes with 4 anti vibration rubber corners which is a great addition especially when the fan can spin up to 2k rpm, in a cheapish case the vibration could end up being louder than the fan so the rubber corners are a nice plus.Unfortunately my fans only span down to a minimum 40% (roughly 800rpm) compared to the advertised 450rpm, at 40% the fan isn't silent but I'd still consider it quiet. I suspect the reason is more down to the way I control the fan and/or my motherboard so I haven't marked the fan down for this.At 100% this fan is obviously loud but you should expect that, these are marketed as industrial fans so performance is obviously preferred over silence or other fancy features like rgb. Despite the noise at max percentage the fan does shift a lot of air which is exactly what you'd hope for and makes this a great fan where high airflow and cooling is important.I bought these fans to sit in the front of my pc case (corsair 500r) and to cool my hard drives which would regularly get to temperatures I wasn't comfortable leaving them at with the default Corsair fans. Although it isn't summer these fans already keep all my hard drives cooler than the stock fans I replaced while at minimum speed, these also can spin faster than the fans I replaced so I suspect they will do a great job when the hot summer days come by.Overall I'm happy with the purchase, I don't love the price but I do realise you have to be prepared to pay a premium to get a premium product, I can't compare these to that many other high end fans as I haven't used many, but with a 6 year warranty as well as water and dust protection I expect these fans to last a long time. If they do then I can excuse the price.

Much quieter as original server 120mm fan
Fitted this on a Dell Poweredge T320 to replace the manufacturer supplied AFC1212DE fanIt's not quite as thick/deep, but still fits in the server fine. I did also need a 4pin pwm fan extension cable to reach from the back of the server to the mobo connection point near the frontIt's almost silent in comparison. With the server fan speed at default, the loudest thing is the hard disks ticking. However, with the lower volume, slightly less air is being passed over the cpu / disks, resulting in a temp increase of about 15 C - disks at 45 C rather than 30.When I was working it harder, CPU temps did get to about 70C, so have increased the base fan speed. Even with this, it still seems quieter than stock, so worth the upgrade

Phenomenal performance, bulletproof build.
I like purchasing computer components that last, hence purchasing an industrial-grade dust proof 120mm fan for a home build. Arrives in Noctua's standard lovely packaging, doesn't have the consumer accessories of anti-vibration mounts and various cable extensions but I didn't expect them given it's intended commercial purpose. The fan provides high airflow through a carbon foam dust filter, with only a slight hum when going at full blast. Great if you live in a dusty environment and want a fan that can provide sufficient pressure to get air through a dense filter without getting itself gummed up in the process. Brilliant as usual from these folks.
