Product is just OK, but you need competence with a craft knife and decent glue (not supplied)
What you get is a pair of substantial half soles. I have not done these sorts of repairs for many years, but I know trimming the sole to size and sole adhesion to the shoe were both issues. Adhesion is certainly still an issue! Not so much cutting to correct size. I tried both "rubber" adhesive and Gorilla Glue. The rubber adhesive is as bad as I remember and just does not do the job. I tried gorilla on the second sole and that was OK if spread thin. Plus you can patch any "no-stick" areas later. I had to rip off the useless rubber glued sole, sand and switch to gorilla. Trimming with a modern craft knife is a dream, compared to my youthful efforts. And, you have electric sanders to finish the edge. Brilliant! I did this labour intensive job to save an old, much loved, pair of shoes, which my wife insisted were worn out, just because the sole was worn through! I'm really glad I did! You do, however, really need clamps to seal the edge whilst the glue dries. The whole thing is not for the faint-hearted! Unless the shoe is much loved, I suggest bin it and replace them

DIY shoe Repairs
Very good. I have used ecobbler before and will use them again. Delivery as estimated, good price , good product. If anything these soles are a little thicker than previous purchases.

You must use a good ahesive
First attempt at stick on soles, you need to make sure you use a good contact adhesive and make sure you get glue right in the edge of both the shoe and the soles. You also need a very sharp knife such a Stanley knife to trim the soles once they have adhered, I left mine over night. All in I am happy with my purchase it just remains to see how well they wear.
