The pigeons love it!
The feral pigeons and wood pigeons love it! I’m not sure why there’s a review saying it’s not much good for doves, it’s pigeon food!!

Excellent feed, nothing is wasted !
We've had some large Wood Pigeons visiting the garden for a couple of years and initially just put out bread and scraps but this wasn't ideal. We then tried some feeds from the supermarket and although they were better for the birds, left a terrible mess because there was a lot of dust, crushed seeds and flour. which turned to paste in the rain. We tried to keep it dry by using a covered feeding station but the birds spread it round so looked for an alternative.I read the reviews for this product thoroughly before deciding to buy it and they were very helpful.The Pigeons took a bit of time to get used to it but now they seem to love it, they clean the feeding stations completely, there is never any mess as any stray seeds are also picked up around the feeders !There is only whole seeds in the bag, no crushed or powdered seeds but there are a few other small birds visiting which also enjoy what they can find.It is sold in a large, strong single plastic sack which might be a little cumbersome for some people and you may want to put it into some other containers with lids to prevent rodents etc.

Very good - Pigeons love it.
During the Summer months we have something like 7 or 8 Pigeons visiting our bird table daily. Since November we now have 26 or 28 daily. Always count more in the cold Winter months, but I think much earlier this year. Anyway that's the reason for buying this item. So many hungry birds, so now putting on the bird table and on the lawn. Wood Pigeons also feeding and Squirrels like it too.That's fine by me. Will order some more.

There appears to be only one problem, the near tame woodpigeon is not a corn fancier. f we are a bit slow in putting some out he will come strutting into the kitchen..The rest is not wasted as other pigeons are not so fussy.

too many too large kernels for my fantail doves
My fully grown fantails pick through this mix and leave all the whole maize, chickpeas and blackeyes. The next largest kernel is the pea which they love and they eat it and everything smaller than them. I have no experience of 'pigeons' so maybe they have bigger beaks and throats, but for my birds this is definitely no good. More than 50% by weight of this mix they will not eat.
