Best thing I ever bought for my chickies. I’ve seen a few people use this in different ways, but this has been extremely helpful while brooding my chicks. They outgrew my original container for them within a week, and so I saw this on Amazon and figured I’d give it a try. It’s spacious and packs up nice and compact in a zipper pouch. A pop-up pen for my chickies while they grow! The top and side zipper windows make it easy to access the birds and change their water and food regularly. Super easy to use and holds up against spills, too. The bottom is waterproof!

Such a quick, affordable, easy setup for a chick brooder and super easy to clean! We’ve kept 16 chicks inside this and using the deep litter method only had to clean it once a week! Loved the zipper windows it has on the sides so the kiddos can easily pet and play with the baby chicks. I did take it outside once and unzip the bottom inside so the chicks could forage but would not advise that while shavings are still in it, definitely made a mess! Just put this up and definitely will be using again for next set of chicks!

I really purchased this for myself and a family member to play with new baby animals and let them roam around without running off or hurting themselves.. its great you can lie down in it .. I am 5'6 and I can lie down and spent time with the pet and not worry about it getting lost or running under the couch . I used it both inside the house and also outside at the park under trees ......it's good for mice, turtles, bearded dragons. .... I would not recommend leaving a pet unattended as a mouse would chew through unattended and anything with claws would climb the sides and could hurt themselves if they fell backwards... myself and another family member sat inside of it .. our heads touched the top but that was no big deal . the safety for the animal was the main part .... we also took it to the park to get some time outside in the fresh air .... it worked really well... .. pay attention to the zippers . I would recommend to pull the zipper all the way down to the end of the beginning . if you open the zipper as it's located in the middle it will break the zipper . the zipper part is not made like a pair of pants . there is no place where it joins up like a jacket .. so I would advise to be careful of that when using any of the zippers....it popped open really easy to use at first .. although I tried the directions to fold it back up . It has pictures and everything to try to put it back in the bag that it came with ... but if you don't intend on packing it up and putting it away often, it comes with steaks that can push into the dirt if its outside .... it was I guess supposed to be for baby chickens and it would actually work for that as well .. although it would need bedding and what not ... it works for what I purchased it for,, it will surely make due until I can get something more durable where I know will last more than a year or two ...
