Very easy to install took 30 minutes seems to run almost 30° cooler on a 98° day just idling from 195 to 170 on 2014 Silverado, No instructions but found several videos on YouTube that was helpful came with 4 o rings only used 3 put small o ring on pill end drop in housing place 2 o rings on plug groves drop ball in plug put small end spring in plug first the slide in housing press together and install snap ring

Yes it's a knock off the original and there are no instructions, however there are many detailed video on Youtube how to install it. Just search on there for "STL010 install". Same procedure :)It works just as well btw - no issues, no leaks and my temp is down around 20 degrees on a hot day.

This was by far a great purchase. Before, my trans would run 195+ all the time and now it won't get past 175 on the hottest days!

Very misleading name. It’s not the Superior Solutions product so it’s a definite generic knock off. Everything seems well made though and so far so good with no leaks.

This kit is a knock off for sure. The original STL010 is by surecool in a box w/ instructions. This product came in a baggy w/ no instructions. As I observed it I noticed 2 of the small 4 passage holes weren’t machined perfectly as they had metal shaving hangs. Since the build quality looked good I chose to keep it & just chip off the access metal shaving hangs and blew it out because I didn’t want any of it breaking off into the transmission while installed. Other than that everything was perfect. Easy install, I bought a housing gasket aswell. It’s been about 5days so far , No leaks & My truck hasn’t seen over 150degress at all.

Just replaced transmission after 90K mikes, was recommended by shop to add a thermostat delete for the 6l80 transmission. Before install seeing temps around 210-220 in Phoenix. After install still seeing temps around 180-200 degrees but if I’m idle for some time the temp will rise to 230+.

Installed on 2014 Silverado 5.3 liter, transmission temp dropped from 98 C to 65C when pulling 5th wheel.Not hard to install and so far no leaks. Thanks.
