DFRobot Waterproof DS18B20 Temperature Sensor Kit

I bought this to use with a raspberry pi zero w. I'm using this with a python script to monitor the temperature of an aquarium. It took a bit for me to get it working since this was the first time I have done anything using a gpio header. Getting the wiring right was a little bit of a challenge because there was nothing to tell me what colors were which wires (power, neutral, data). Once the wires were sorted everything is working well. The thermometer has been working now for about two months. I get both emails and text messages if the temperature of the tank are out of spec. I have yet to clean up the install but it is good enough for now.

Saying that this is a three pack is misleading. There are three components: the wires, the board, and the thermometer. You can easily buy these three components as a set for less than $5 and they are not referred to as a "3 Pack". Also, I emailed the tech support team to help get this working on my raspberry pi and never heard back. I wouldn't have an issue paying a premium for this kit if their customer service was on point but it's not. Other than that the components look to be well constructed but no better than the $4 kit I already have.

Saying that you it's a package with "3 Pack" kit. The description is misleading. You can buy these three components as a set for less than $5".

Finally got around to using this sensor and I’m disappoint as it rusted within 24hrs.

Great product

No user manual. Impossible to connect anything to the Adapter.
