ZINUS Suzanne Bamboo and Metal Platform Bed Frame with Footboard / Wood Slat Support / No Box Spring Needed / Easy Assembly, King

First off, I purchased this with a discount code and it is SO worth the buy - discounted or not! We purchased a King size and are extremely happy!This is a steel frame with bamboo for the wood. The quality is amazing for the price and I absolutely LOVE this company for the ease of assembly, quality and style. The instruction manual comes with pictures and a number system. 1 goes to 1 and so on. But they also have in the picture to show you which parts you're dealing with and the numbers mean you can't mess this up. The way they constructed it is so awesome. The pieces for the metal frame slide into each other and the quality of the bolts are amazing. They have a ratchet included with an allen wrench, and the ratchet is great quality. I'm keeping it for sure!It says up to 700 lb capacity, but this frame is solid. I'm sure it can handle more and some rough treatment with ease. we have carpet in our bedroom, so that helps to cushion. But this frame does not squeak at all. We've already tried rocking it around, jumping on it and this thing isn't going anywhere. The bamboo slats are thick and great quality, there's Velcro on the sides of the frame that keep them in place and everything was finished so nicely. There is two strips of adhesive on the slats. You peel that off and it's meant to keep the mattress in place. We didn't use it, our mattress has some weight to it, so we're not worried about it moving. I cannot express how overjoyed I am with this bed frame!Some other great pointers was the delivery and packaging. Delivery with prime came on time and within 2 days, so that was a blessing. And the packaging was well done, but not excessive. We don't have a bunch of packaging that was unnecessary for the recycle bin and trash. I love that! Even the styrofoam they had for packaging is the good kind and we're keeping that too lol!I highly recommend this product and I hope everyone else has an amazing experience like we did!

My ex-girlfriend bought this on my credit card without me knowing... I guess she didn't like my mattress on the floor. Anyways the bed came in and provided us with a fun and simple task of putting it together. I wasn't mad about the purchase whatsoever. Then we broke it in. Man! Her & this bed frame can take a pounding! After years of abuse the bed frame held up. No broken slats, no bends in the metal frame, nothing. It's definitely durable.One improvement they could make would be to add rubber washers with the hardware set. After time, the hardware slowly loosened and started to get noisy. I popped some rubber washers in all the connections and back to silence. Well, sorta ;)I just bought a king mattress & a buddy of mine asked for the queen bed frame immediately knowing I would probably discard of it. The bed frame lives on!! I ended up purchasing the same bed frame in the king size. This time with a footboard as I have learned some new moves.If you're debating whether or not to purchase, this review should make it easy. This bed frame was very heavy and seems like it will hold up well. My only complaint is how low it is. This is probably my own fault but we bought a new mattress which is 10 inches and with this frame not needing box springs the whole thing doesn’t even come up to my knees. We literally are gonna have to fall into this bed.

This is a great bed. I got it for my daughter for xmas, The two of us had fun putting it together and it comes with this handy little tool! I think it took us around 45min. Its very sturdy and she loves it!!

This bed frame was so easy to put together between every piece being numbered and the Velcro on the slats. I was worried that it would be a cheap quality because of the price but it is better than anything you would find at a discount furniture store. It comes with all of the hardware organized and a really cool hex key ratchet, which was very nice for tightening up the bolts.

Buying on sale yes. Definitely not worth 370$$ sturdiness is good and instructions are a little confusing but figured it out. Wood finish on head/foot board have rough spots that you can feel/ see but overalls happy with it!

We needed a platform to support a queen size air mattress. The low profile of this particular platform was perfect to keep the height of the bed just right to get in and out of. Easy to assemble and easy instructions actually made sense… we felt price was fair for th quality.

My friend recommended it. I am happy to ordered it. Super easy to assemble. Comes with requiret tool to assemble. It's enough to follow the clear instructions to assemble it. You will see letters or numbers for each part. And just follow the instructions which comes with images to easily assemble. It's stable and seems reliable.

I ordered king size bed frame. While assembly, I noticed a defect on headboard. The hole on the headboard wasn't aligned with the frame so I couldn't screw in. I asked Amazon for a replacement for the piece only that's defective but they refused it and the only way I could fix the problem is that sending the whole package back to Amazon then they will send me a new package. Well...... it's a metal king size frame, freaking heavy, I had already unpacked and moved it to upper floor and been half way done of building it. Who wants to be bothered to disassemble, pack and send back????????? especially it's not your fault. I gave up dealing with amazon so I contacted the manufacturer next. Their customer service was much worse. They said they can't do anything since my return window wasn't expired yet. I've bought several products from Wayfair, and they don't have any problems to send me a replacement!!!!!I decided to return the whole product and to get a refund. Had to disassemble and managed to pack it again in a box, it took several hours. I was told to print the return label and drop it off to the local post office or whatsoever.It's 100LB and my car is too small to carry such a big item. I didn't want to go through the process because it wasn't my fault. After hours of conversation with CS staff back and forth, they finally agreed to send a carrier to pick it up at my place. I had to wait several weeks until they come. Finally removed that hideous big box from my entryway. Ordered Nov 25, 2019 and got a refund on Jan 16, 2020. What a waste of time and energy.Bottom line : BE CAREFUL BEFORE BUYING A HEAVY, HUGE ITEM FROM AMAZON. IF YOU'RE UNLUCKY AND GET A DEFECTIVE ONE(it's likely to get a defective one), IT'S VERY HARD TO GET A REPLACEMENT AND RETURN.THOUGH I LIKED THE PRODUCT, IT WAS DEFECTIVE AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM AMAZON/THE MANUFACTURER WAS HORRIBLE.

We have bought the zinus bed frame when looking for a solid and low profile. The steel frame structure is very well build and easy to assemble. The only complain we have was the colors of the headboard and the foorboard of the bed who dosen't match the description. It was suppose to be cherry pine wood (now the color is listed as chestnut brown), but it arrived in a kind of yellowish colors from de 70's. Because amazon offer us a discount and that would avoid to return a 140 lbs bed frame, we have decided to keep it, but we have sanded, dye and varnish the headboard and the the footboard of the bed. It took me a full day to do it.

Both headboard and foot boards damaged. Packaging was fine on the outside.Bed frame is solid. Great bed otherwise.

With our Endy Mattress there is no motion transfer and the bed is silent when we toss and turn in the night, no squeaks, no fuss no bother! Easy to set up, and everything fit together perfectly. The only complaint I might have is that we wish the bed was a bit taller as we are both tall, however the dogs love it as they can jump in easily! However our bed we replaced was so tall we almost needed a ladder to get in, so just a bit of having to get used to the lower level. The price was excellent, we are very pleased.

I would have given it higher scores. I love how easy the instructions are and the little rachet tool that comes with it. They could give Ikea some advice :) The metal seems sturdy and it is a good design. The only reason I didn't give higher stars is that by the time I had half assembled it I realized the wood in the headboard was cracked. I was hoping hoping for just a replacement part but Amazon only can do whole returns. I did not twant to pack everything back up again and send off. Too much work. So I kept it and hoped the wood will hold out.
