iHome Bluetooth Speaker with SPEAKERPH, Black

The sound quality absolutely amazed me when a friend brought hers when my speaker went out for class. It was so much cheaper than replacing my old one that I ordered one for me. For such a compact speaker it really puts out quality sound. I teach line dancing and it’s can be heard throughout the entire hall. Easy to set up. Collapses so it’s easy to carry in my supply bag. Couldn’t be happier with this little find.

I love these things! I own 4 and they're my go to gift for anyone I haven't given one to yet. They're portable, like flatten down and put in your pocket portable. The sound quality is terrific and connectivity is a breeze. Great little speaker at a great price point. I don't leave home without one...ever! If I haven't already given you one of these then buy this, you won't regret it!

This speaker.is excellent for it's size. I don't get the other comments because it's just not what I experienced with this speaker. Unless some people got a bad one this little speaker is loud and rather clear for it's size.

This is a reasonable device and very small and it works well with the computer for the most part. However, for some reason, it likes to turn itself off which as a teacher is a little frustrating. I have to keep turning it back on to use and then it takes a little time to transfer the properties over to the speaker and when I’m in the middle of class it’s a little challenging.

It’s a good speaker. Placement matters with sound, the floor works well. The reason I bought this one was because it’s not waterproof. Waterproofing ruins sound and who needs it? Just in case you feel like listening to music in the rain?

I had an earlier version iHome Bluetooth speaker (Model iBT72) that worked brilliantly for about three years, so when that older one died, I did hesitate to order the iHome iBT61BC.The iHome iBT61BC Bluetooth speaker has a nice enough sound for music -- I've used it with both Windows pc and and iPhone 8 to play Christmas music -- so no great challenges.However, the MAIN use I have for this speaker is to amplify the sound of audiobooks on iPad, iPhone 8, and Windows. pc. I think the speaker has trouble transmitting certain lower registers of the human speech in audiobook mode. It continually drops up to four syllables every few minutes -- which sometimes makes it hard to follow a book storyline with so many words missing.I found this problem with distances ranging from a few inches all the way to twenty feet -- so distance is not an issue. There is just something wrong that makes the speaker drop certain registers of the spoken word with audiobooks.I have, of course, replayed the same materials without the Bluetooth speaker, using only the built-in speaker on each device. In each case, playback on the device's built-in speaker is flawless.I have tried the iBT61BC with a dozen different audiobooks from different publishers -- all with the same dismal result.I spoke to the manufacturer who suggested I return the product to the seller.Since I had such a good experience with the earlier iBT72, I would not hesitate to try a replacement or another iHome model.

I have a small office so this is perfect. Too bad there's no AUX input so I can listen to music from the computer. Thankfully I have unlimited data so I listed to SXM on my cellphone but it drains my cellphone quickly.

This blue-tooth speaker is very good, sound quality is also very good. I play something on it daily. iHome is generally an excellent brand, I haven't had any problems with this brand so I can recommend it to others. Fairly priced, but I'm sure you can find it cheaper.

I've had speakers from Ihome before it's pretty loud but not the loudest it's very easy to carry around and bring places. But by how small it is it has a great sound system.
