I have different versions of these kennel crocks and some are better than others. Metal is the easiest to clean and more durable for my heavy chewer pups. This is the perfect size for 3 small dogs to share. With the size down I felt like I was constantly refilling their food and water. This takes me down to just once/d.Quality control is kinda lacking - the first to arrive was packaged but completely missing the whole bottom halfLooking at the user pics, don't tighten it to THE tightest you can get it - the stress + weight seems to cause cracking. I like this product.purchased similar product yeats ago and all parts we’re stainless steel, which I think was better. The reason I think all stainless better is by to hat bowls engaged/disengaged seamlessly, while these engage but removal is difficult. I kept product and using but cannot remove bowls easily, therefore they don’t get cleaned with new food/ water.

These stainless steel dishes were exactly what I wanted for my dogs' crates. Easy to clean up and sanitize. Fits easily in the crate.The only bad thing with the 2 that I received is they were VERY hard to get in/out of the holder. I actually had to use a file/rasp to shave some off the connection pieces so I could more easily insert/remove the bowl from it's base.

We have a Great Dane puppy (currently 7 months old) and this bowl has been worth every cent. The fact that this bowl locks in place is a game changer! I ultimately purchased two so I could change bowls out for cleaning, but even with one it was less than 10 minutes to take it out, scrub it down, and rinse clean with hot water.

We have smaller bowls for our other two dogs and you can just turn the bowl to remove it. This one is larger so more appropriate for our German Shepherd, but you can’t remove the bowl to clean it without unscrewing it from the cage. Would be ideal bowl if it came off easier.

So easy to clean and they hold in place all round great value for the money

Had the plastic one before finding these stainless steel bowls. These are fantastic!

Easily attaches to the side of the kennel and can be placed at the most optimal height for my dogs. I prefer the stainless steel as it seems to be easier to clean. I do wish the bracket that holds the crock in place was made of a more sturdier material but this seems to be holding up pretty well. I had purchased a melamine crock from a different seller that broke within a week but this one is holding up nicely after about a year of daily/constant use. I have 4 stainless steel crocks that I use as food and water bowls for each of my 2 dogs. It’s wonderful not having to constantly clean up messes from overturned bowls or have to hunt for bowls that have been moved to various mysterious places. If these break (which I don’t anticipate happening) I will gladly purchase again.

These were great for a few months until my female Blue and Gold macaw realised she can snap off the plastic tab on the bowl in under a minute. Now a couple of hundred dollars of bowls are useless.They do what they are described to do but seriously a metal tab would make this product so much more versatile, the only weak point she could find and now can destroy in under a minute. Thanks for wasting money. Now to try another design of bowls, bit upset as I like the locking mechanism a lot, just can't stand up to a 1kg parrot...

Attaches well to the cage and prevents my conure from tipping over his water bowl. Love that they are stainless steel as there is no worries about rust and they are easy to clean.
