Solid Build
I bought this air filter/liquid seperator for use on my CO2 laser so that I could use my shop air compressor for "Air assist". I found it to work quite well. It is not big or heavy and it appears to be well built/sturdy. I attached it to the end of my reel hose right before it attaches to my laser cabinet. I live in a fairly dry climate so there is'nt a lot of moisture build up to begin with but the filtering seems to be good.

Outstanding
It works great. I’m using it to strip fibers off metal doors. Make sure to get a mask, eye care, and a jumpsuit for protection. I’m using 30-60 grit iron and works like a charm.

Great for the cost, note about tooling & usage
FOr the cost, this thing is awesome. Especially when used with high flow fittings or direct attachment to the pneumatic source.I'm currently doing light engraving work in aluminium and stainless (304), and deburring. It works fine for those purposes, but for engraving control at higher speeds is non-existant so don't expect to use it for that.My biggest gripes are that:- for an air tool, it gets *hot.* Normally I expect to see exhaust used to help cool units, but since exhaust is ducted out the back I'm guessing it doesn't have enough flow around the chassis.- The ducted exhaust out the back happens in the space between the intake hose and the plastic tubing that comes from the body. This tubing is just friction fit and has come off when in use, which will blast air on the operator. Whilst not typically harmful to the operator, it's liable to make someone screw up what they're working on when it jerks. I'd put a hose clamp on it.- the speed adjustment is not granular and unmarked. Nor a huge deal once you get a feel for it.- As some have noted, expect to need new tooling as it's a smaller 3mm chuck.Again, for the cost of this thing I'm fine sticking a hose clamp on it.

Good product
It did the job well - prevented a lot of moisture from getting to my paint gun.

Good tool... But not what I was hoping for.
I bought this to use with Roloc bits for sanding and polishing metals and also some auto body / fiberglass work. Admittedly, I mostly use electric tools and have slowly been getting into pneumatics. I felt like this thing was pretty clumsy and inefficient. I really like Neiko tools, but this grinder was 1.) Very Loud 2.) It used a lot of air. For the amount of work it did, my compressor seemed like it would never shut off. To be clear, I paint a whole car and might hear my compressor kick on twice. 3.) There is a regulator to "feather" the throttle. It was not sensitive at all. From off to the slowest I could get it to go was crazy. It turns on hard!!!That being said, this tool definitely isn't right for any kind of precision work. But, the size and shape were nice and I suppose if you were using it to get into tighter spots just to rough stuff in and you wanted something comfortable, this could be a good choice at a good price point. For me however, it was not exact enough.

Lever for forward and reverse is easy to use
This is one VERY FAST air tool. Lever for forward and reverse is easy to use. For a first time user for a butterfly impact this may take a little while to get used to, which side to hold down for on and which way to hold down for off. Once you get that is your memory good then this tool makes it very fast to work on removing nuts and bolts. Sure beats turning a ratchet with a socket attached to it. Took off and re-put together a bumper in lightning quick time span. Surprised me and a friend who only heard this butterfly whirling away as I did the task quickly. He commented later all I heard was whirl whirl whirl and before he knew it - all was quiet and then I was done and then looking over his shoulder kidding him with jokingly asking him " You ain't done your control arm yet, have you been napping over here". Truly amazed at the speed and time saving ability that this tool has. inch to two inch long bolts completely down tight within a second or two. It literally was zip bolt one - zip bolt two out, zip bolt three out, and the rebuild was very much the same. finger started as many of the bolts as I could before picking up this butterfly and then zip bolt one down , zip bolt two down, zip bolt three down and so on. 10,000 rpm is super quick. Mechanic friend uses his ratchet style to loosen a d tighten many bolts on jobs that you need to remove many things to get exchange a bad part, then uses the same tool to re-install all the other parts back on again, I see him and hear his slow air tool going wroo wroo wroo for like 9 seconds for each bolt about an inch long, and this butterfly does the same bolt in like a second or two seconds. I just smile at him and think to myself " Man he'll be there doing the same job for a lot longer time, than I would". If you have the room to use this tool for sheer time saving speed then why wouldn't you. I have better things to do than spend hours on a job that can be done in 1/8 of the time. Get R Done, Clean up the mess, and then move to the next job, or if that job was your only weekend task then you're done with plenty of time left to go do something that you really want to do. Like go look over the shoulder of your friend working and ask him " You ain't done yet, have you been napping over here".
