I bought 5 sets of these to decorate my table, mantle and window sills for thanksgiving dinner and they’re absolutely great. I love the slow fade setting, The timers work well and help to extend battery life without having to turn all of them on and off with each use.

These were perfect for a large wreath that is dark colored the wires do not appear and it was great at holding on some of the branches. However the lights are spaced further apart than I thought so you do need two pairs for one wreath unfortunately. It was brighter I would recommend and repurchase but not

I like this company's lights. I have several sets of the fairy lights and thought I would add some string lights for the front porch this Xmas. After hanging the lights, I realized the remotes were not in the box. I did try using the remote for the fairy lights since the battery boxes look the same but no go. Amazon is sending a new set so hopefully remotes are on the way. This is the first time parts have been missing. UPDATE: Amazon sent a replacement and there wasn't any remotes in the 2nd set either. I've removed a star since the tech section clearly states operation is by remote.

The printing on the battery pack is backwards - ON is really the TIMER position, and TIMER is really the ON position (only turns off when you manually stop it). I purchased 2 boxes of these lights and neither worked in the Timer position (they never turned off). If you look at the instruction sheet , the graphic showing the settings is not the same as the printed settings on the battery pack. The instruction sheet is correct. The word TIMER should be printed on the left and the word ON should be printed on right. So if your timer is not working, try setting the switch to the opposite of what you want it to do.set Also the instruction for these 40-LED sets is not clear. To scroll through the various light modes, press down on the switch to go to the next mode/pattern. There are 8 patterns and the 9th is the shut off button. You must press the switch down until you get to the shut off mode for the lights to turn off unless you have them set for Timer.These are great lights. I am so happy with them. If you have them outside or on a door or in a window, you don't have to be home for them to turn on and off when set on Timer. This is a nice feature if you are out of town - your house still lights up and may give the appearance that you are home.Thanks to the reviewers who pointed out that the printing on the battery pack was incorrect. I had an Amazon return ready to go. Now I can keep the lights!

I waited until after Christmas to write this review. These lights are Fabulous ! My husband and I are getting up there in age and doing all the cumbersome lights outdoors is getting to be a bit too much for us but I Love Christmas and thought of my home with no lights was awful so I searched for battery powered lights with timers and found these on Amazon. The reviews were very good so I bought six sets (they come two sets in a box). I placed them outside, in my artificial poinsettias, my window boxes, my mailbox swag and indoor and outdoor wreaths and in my windows that are facing the street and they looked Wonderful! They were Bright White ( not that LED Blue cast that I hate ). You can pick any combo you like, Flashing, Twinkle, Steady etc.The ones I put outside I placed the battery packs in Zip Lock bags as one reviewer suggested to keep the battery pack holder dry. The day I planned to turn them all on I picked a time. They stay on for six hours at a time. I set mine all to turn on at 5:30 PM. that made them go off at 11:30 PM which was late enough. All you do is pick the light combo show you want, flick the switch to Timer and you're all set. No muss, No Fuss. They were great. They came on and went off at the same time each day. Better than that you can't ask for. The biggest expense was the batteries. Each set takes three batteries. I bought Duracell batteries and I never needed to change them and they ran everyday from Thanksgiving weekend until January 4th. I plan on buying more sets to put outside next season.

So the batteries last two weeks on the 6 hour timer. That’s it. Not 120 hours. More like 90. I purchased the best batteries you can get, Energizer Max. Since I didn’t want there to be any question about the quality of the batteries. I have 18 wreaths up and they were all turned on at the exact same time and work on the 6 hour timer. The first wreath batteries died on the 13th day and the second one died on the 14th day. It looks like the rest will also die tonight on the 14th day. So there you have it. Expect two weeks with the best batteries and no more than that. I also have the battery pack inside the house to avoid being impacted by cold weather.

Update: I wanted to come back and say these lights have exceeded my expectations! I received and put batteries in on 12/04/18 and set with the timer - it is now New Year's eve and they are still going! They turn on every night at 5:15 and turn off at 11:15! They are now dimmer, but they are still visible from a distance! I had them as part of my indoor Christmas decoration, but they're now wrapped around a wreath on my front door. I plan to leave them there as long as the batteries last! If you need some nice lights in a spot where you have no electric outlet, get these! I'm just waiting for the price to go back to $9.99 and them I'll get a couple more! 5-star item for sure!I am thrilled with these! For Christmas, I put garland around my banister going upstairs and it just looked boring. I have no outlets nearby so got these battery-operated lights! It looks awesome now! I love the various settings and that you can put them on a timer! I just got them so I can't say how well the timer works or how long the batteries will last, but I love them already! Will be getting more!

Beide „Ketten“ funktionieren einwandfrei, auch der Timer schaltet präzise. Natürlich kann man von den 40 batteriebetriebenen LED keine Leistung erwarten, die von einer netzteilversorgten Lichterkette geboten wird. Aber für ein gemütliches Licht reicht es allemal, die teilweise nervösen Flackereffekte muss man ja nicht nutzen... mir reicht ein langsames Wechsel- oder Funkellicht... Überzeugt hat mich auch die stabile und leicht zu öffnende bzw. zu schliessende Batterieeinheit für 3 AA Batterien... deutlich besser als die sonst üblichen und fummeligen 2er Batterieboxen. Die Verpackung war auch stabil und sorgfältig...

Ich liebe diese Lichterketten. Sie werden schnell geliefert und die Qualität ist top. Hatte letztes Jahr die Ersten 2 die komplette Weihnachtszeit im Garten. Sie haben jedes Wetter überstanden und funktionieren immer noch. 2 habe ich innen seit 8 Monaten in Dauerbetrieb und sie leuchten einwandfrei. Sie sind getimt auch sehr sparsam in den Batterien

Die Lichterketten sind nun seit 2 Wochen im Einsatz und laufen immer noch mit den ersten Batterien, sind absolut Wasserdicht und der Timer funktioniert auch bestens. Ich kann sie guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.- Nachtrag - die Lichterketten haben mit je 3 nicht hochwertigen Batterien vom 1 Advent bis zum 06. Januar ohne Wechsel mit Timerfunktion auf Dauerlicht ohne geblinke durchgebrannt. Für mich perfekt.... Zur Saisonpause werden von mir die Batterien entnommen und entsorgt auch wenn diese noch nicht leer sind.

Ich habe die Lichterketten zum Schmücken unseres Treppengeländers bestellt. Beide Lichter zusammen haben von der Länge her gepasst. Es hat zwischenzeitlich ordentlich geregnet, was mir anfangs etwas Bedenken beschert hat. Jedoch waren diese unbegründet. Die Bedienkonsolen halten den Regen problemlos aus. Zudem hat man die Möglichkeit, verschiedene Leuchtmodi einzustellen. Von Flackern bis durchgehendes Leuchten. Was noch positiv anzumerken ist, ist die Möglichkeit, einen Timer auszuwählen. So leuchten die Lichter täglich exakt um die selbe Uhrzeit auf,zu der sie eingeschaltet wurden und schalten sich nach 6 Stunden automatisch aus. Kaufempfehlung.

Die Lichterkette benötigt 3 AA-Batterien (auch Akkus halten darin lange), die in die wasserdichte Box gelegt werden.Die einzelnen Effekte habe ich einmal kurz durchprobiert und die waren alle ganz in Ordnung.Da wir die Lampen für die Weihnachtsdekoration vor unserer Haustür nutzen wollten nutzen wir die Normalfunktion.Der Timer funktioniert ganz einfach. Nachdem man das anschaltet bleibt die Lichterkette für 6 Stunden an und schaltet sich am nächsten Tag zur gleichen Zeit wieder ein. Easy peasy.Meine Frau ist sehr begeistert ;)
