So far, it's doing a great job. It has been a couple of months since I replaced the old battery in my alarm system and so far, so good. It took about a day for it to "charge up" so I kept hearing the beeping but that resolved once it reached the minimum threshold. Since then, no problem.

A lot less to do it yourself then have to have them send someone to replace it from the security company. Glad the awful beeping has stopped!

Save yourself some money by having your security service with the Simon XT send you a battery.Security Service wanted nineteen dollars for the exact same thing.The biggest hassle is waiting to have them put the system in test mode before installing.Once that is done install takes like 30 seconds and there are how to videos online.I cannot speak to battery life. I can update my review once I know more.

My Dad's old battery hasn't been changed in 7 years and finally went out. Found this one just like his and at a great price. Came in quickly and installed it that evening. Next day it was fully charged and working great. This is a great little battery and a great price. Hope it last 7 years like the last one.

shut up my GE Simon security system as soon as I put in this battery. easy to do, and worked perfectly.only thing is, be sure to change the settings of your alarm system until you get your new battery so that the system doesn't remind you in the middle of the night you still need a new battery !
