Well my dad wond stop going on about how good it is. He loves motor torpedo boats and this was a great gift for him. I'd recommend 100%.

A great value for money book for any researcher.Individual boat's histories are not included (except their fate)I now have two copies.

I found this book not to be as detailed as the PT Boat book in this series, however that is only a personal view.I would have liked to see even more of the paraphanalia usually found strewn around when in port, to use as a reference in one of my future builds.Still worth the price paid though !

Excellent Book .

Une publication très bien documentée sur les unités de la "petite flotte" côtière anglaise. Riche en détails techniques elle sera intéressante pour les amateurs d'histoire, les maquettistes avertis et, pourquoi pas, pour les plaisanciers. Typiquement britannique, cet ouvrage requiert un minimum de connaissances sur le domaine traité et, naturellement, de la langue anglaise dont la prose reste ici, cependant, plus qu'abordable.

This is an excellent reference for modellers or history buffs, and I'm both! The photos are either taken while in action, the drawings are complete and revealing, and the information included is both fascinating and to the point. I am attempting to model an MTB of the period for the second time. The first was botched because I was in such a hurry; this will make the details come to life. Also an ideal tie-in for "A Prayer for the Ship", one of my favorite novels on the time-frame, by Alexander Kent.

Ein willkommenes Nachschlagewerk als Ergänzung zur bisher vorhandenen Literatur. Text und Bilder sowie die Farbzeichnungen sind sehr ausgewogen. Sehr hilfreich sind auch die Tabellen und der Index.Dr. C.-J. Pickenpack
