I suspect that both clocks came from the same workshop, in China. Fortunately the first clock to arrive had the instruction leaflet, the second one didn’t. The important thing to note is that the batteries you need aren’t the normal alkaline ones, but carbon zinc. The carbon zinc ones are a bit more difficult to get hold of in the shops, so my advice would be to buy some online before the clock actually arrives. They’re not expensive. The instruction leaflet is written in a sort of pidgin English but if you study it carefully it’s just about possible to work out what you need to do. Both clocks have been in operation for a few weeks now, and there have been no problems, and they keep good time. And I’m very happy with the styling and appearance, but then again that’s simply a matter of personal taste. Best wishes, Paul R. Sealey

Love the look and that fact that its QUIET! Does look cheap close up but I don't feel that matters.

This clock was chosen by my husband. I must admit on the wall it looks very elegant but close up I feel it's rather cheap looking. The clock is basically a circular piece of wood with a sticker transferred onto it (as per the description).My husband loves it, I suppose that's all that matters.

Acquired to replace our old kitchen clock which finally expired following years of faithful service.First impressions are very good. It looks lovely, it is certainly silent, and hopefully it will prove accurate.Recommended.

It looks just like the picture. Considering the competive clocks, the price is reasonable for an attractive clock. I expected the photo paper surface, and with it, still looks great! It runs perfectly! The second hand is a shiny red metal, so I very gently "painted" it black with a black permanent marker...looks much better to me with the distressed design.

This is a really cute clock but when I received it it was missing the covering that houses the batteries which wouldn’t be that big of a deal but you can’t hang it up without it. Very disappointed!!

Sieht genau so aus wie am Foto. Nach 3 Wochen geht die Uhr noch auf die Sekunde genau - was will man mehr.

I love this clock! I was looking for something quiet. This one works great and looks lovely on the wall. I liked it so much, I bought another one in a different style. Unfortunately, when it arrived, the color wasn't quite what I was expecting. I decided to exchange it. The company was very gracious and accommodating. Not only did they send me a new clock, but they told me to keep the other one. I gave it to a cousin who happens to like lime green. He loves it! Thanks Eruner!

Die Uhr ist nicht hölzern, sondern das auf dem Bild sichtbare Design ist ausgedruckt und aufgeklebt auf Pressspan/Plastik und hat einen deutlichen Grünstich. Außerdem sind die Buchstaben verschwommen, also auch die Qualität des Drucks lässt zu wünschen übrig. Statt dem durch die Abbildungen erhofften altmodischen Charme entsteht der Eindruck des billigen Teenagertraums...Der Grünstich ist auf den Bildern nicht erkennbar, vom Auge wesentlich stärker.
