EssieCore Nail Polish: 787 Amuse Me, Faded Denim Blue Original Nail Polish 13.5ml

‘Not R-edy For Bed’ is a bright cherry red creme shade with a stunning high shine.It has a highly pigmented formula, which if I had applied a slightly thicker coat would have made this a fully opaque in just 1 coat! As I usually like to apply 2 coats, I did 2 thin ones and it applied like a dream! The brush is slightly rounded and fans out beautifully and this makes application easy and quick as you need fewer strokes. It also follows the curve of the nail perfectly which I felt helped me to achieve quite a neat finish, which is great (considering my hands shake a little) and I only had a couple of small slips!It dried fairly quickly, considering there were 4 coats, (base+2colour+top coat) in around 20 minutes. It has the most amazing glossy shine and I had a lot of compliments whilst wearing it 😍 I usually steer well clear of bright red polish because it usually makes my hands look washed out, but I feel this really suited my fair skin and is a red I can wear with confidence.I loved everything about this polish and at £7.99 (24/1/21) I think it is an excellent price for the quality of the product and the stunning results it gave. Highly recommend:)In a couple of my photos it looks a slightly darker red, but the lighter cherry red is the true colour, I just added those in because they captured the shine!😍

Probably the best longer lasting value for money nail polish I have ever bought - doesn't need a base coat just two coats of varnish and so far my nails have remained polished for 9 days, better than any expensive nail polish I have bought however, I must mention that I do wear washing up gloves for when I do the washing up and soft gloves for housework but as I work from home I do use my compute keyboard every day and the polish stays on - brilliant!

I was given a 3 pack of Essie mail varnish as a present and really liked them so thought I would buy one myself. Unfortunately, the one I received was really thick and difficult to put on unlike the ones I’d had previously. I am not sure if it was very old stock or had been stored incorrectly but it was like mine get if they are half used and have been languishing in my bathroom cabinet for a few years! Very disappointing

Love the colour of the glitter. I don't usually use a base coat or top coat so the polish doesn't really last more than 2-3 days. If you take better care of your nails than me it will definitely last longer. One coat is enough. If you want to do 2 make sure you do really sheer coats as the glitter builds up quite fast. Really cute colour for the summer

Gorgeous, cool-toned scarlet. It's a crelly, so the first coat is completely translucent, and you really need three (thin) coats to cover the nail lines. But once on it's the most vibrant and sophisticated shade and it's also the most chip-proof red formula I've ever worn. It might be the most chip-proof formula regardless of colour! I've worn it for seven days while dragging suitcases off and onto trains, typing and zipping and unzipping the heavy duty metal zips on my coat and it's survived looking glossy and perfect. Love it. Probably my favourite overall polish of all time.
