My current lap tray was looking very dog eared and the little polystyrene balls underneath were almost all flat giving no comfort at all.After searching and reading reviews, which I always do to make sure I'm getting good value for money and the right product for me, I decided on this one.This tray is plain but at the same time eye catching with the bright red chilli picture. The bottom padding is well made and all the stitching is good and adequate. The tray part is a matt finish with the lovely fire chilli picture. I normally use this tray when I have a TV dinner, and I have a dinner plate, small side plate and a glass on it. The plates did slide, but I just use one of my table mats and that solved the problem. It is lightweight and very easy to position on your knee or armrest.I'm very happy with this tray and it really is a good buy at the price, so therefore I have no hesitation in recommending it.

I have to say; this Premier Housewares Flaming Chilli Lap Tray is quite the spicy addition to my living room! I love the vibrant colours and bold design of the flaming chillies, which adds a fun touch to my decor.And let's talk about functionality: this tray is a game changer for all my couch-side snacking needs. First one of these I received had the label from hell on it which simply ruined the tray as had damaged surface underneath it as mentioned by other reviewers. Happily Amazon exchanged it for free and the replacement one has NO LABEL - nor does the version with tomatoes on that I ordered separately. So good to see when manufacturers listen to feedback and act on it. Thank you. The product is now great and nice quality. Does the job and looks nice on the shelf when not in use.

Does what it is meant to do

Good stuffing in it and the tray is big enough for a dinner plate and a cup of tea.

The tray is really lovely and sturdy, but for some stupid reason, they’ve stuck a great big sticker directly on the surface of tray. It’s not an ‘easy peel’ sticker, so now I’m left with ugly torn remnants of it. Now I’ll have to scrape the rest off which will probably mark the surface.

I do agree with some other reviewers that the overall finish of the design is not excellent (though it is by no means bad), specifically in regards to the bottom 'cushion' and the 'staples' fixing the various sections together that are visible on the bottom. Nevertheless, I believe this is an excellent product - particularly given its low cost - for the following reasons:- The top looks stylish and attractive- The product is comfortable to use for long periods of time and always feels stable- It can double up as a laptop tray- Easy to store, particularly if placed on its side- Easy to clean using a wet cloth

I’ve just received my lap tray and have spent the last 20 minutes trying to take off the huge 3inch sticker that was slapped on it in the bottom left hand corner. I eventually got it all off and am now left with a huge mark as shown in the two photos. Very disappointed with this item, it’s completely ruined the front of the tray. It was meant to be a gift for somebody but this is impossible now as it’s flawed and unattractive. I cannot even give this a rating! I consider it a waste of my money.

The labels cannot be removed without damaging the surface of the tray. I had purchased 3 which were all not fit for purpose and had to be returned.

Product meet expectations. Might be a good idea not to put a sticker on the tray that is hard to remove (glue beneath was not easy to take off, but no mark after removed).
