This is my second Takeya bottle---I recently lost my first bottle when traveling. I didn't even look at other bottles when I replaced the one that I lost--I just bought the same bottle but in the Midnight Blue 40 oz bottle; the blue is GEORGOUS...much prettier than the grey one I originally purchased.I take this bottle with me everywhere (even in the house) because it helps me to drink more water. The wide mouth allows me to easily add ice directly from the dispenser on my fridge and makes it really easy to clean. The lid is also easy to clean and the liner comes out so you can be confident you are sanitizing the entire bottle. I fill it up half the way with ice and the rest with water and it stays cold all day. If I didn't drink any water or add more ice, it would still be cold with ice cubes 24+ hours later. Even when I am sitting out in the heat, the bottle keeps my ice solid and my water cold. The handle is very sturdy. The bottle is solid and can take a lot of abuse without scratching and denting. I kind of abuse my first bottle and it still stayed in top shape.The 40 oz is perfect size for me, even filled, it is not too heavy and as an extra benefit, it could be used as a self-defense weapon when walking if it is filled, lol... I have accidently hit my knee with it walking and it did not feel good! I love that they have added the silicone removable bottom...it definitely quiets the noise made when setting the bottle down. I fill silly being so excited about a water bottle, but I really love my Takeya bottle.You will not regret purchasing this bottle. If I hadn't lost mine, I would expect it to last for many years.

This is my absolute favorite water bottle. I got the 24oz about 2 years ago and still love it so I wanted to get a bigger one too. It's incredibly sturdy and damage resistant. It keeps water cold for at least 8 hours, so with the large volume I can go the whole work day. It has no metallic taste. With the screw off lid and separate drink spout it's easy to fill, clean and drink from. I will probably not need another water bottle for years.

I am purchasing this bottle for the second time because I sadly left it on the airplane when I went out of town. This bottle keeps your drink cool, I love how much water it holds, and it seals well. The handle is comfortable to hold, and the design makes it so that even when full, it is not overly heavy feeling. It does not fit in any cup holders but having multiple glasses of water in one is more important for me. I love the midnight blue color and can't wait to receive it again!

I love the size of the bottle! It has a large capacity and the screw on cap is attached so that's amazing (I would lose it). It's easy to chug water and keeps my water ice cold for hours. I also love that when you remove the lid, it's nice and wide so it's easy to clean. The silicone bottom is a nice addition, so I'm not banging the bottle on the counter. I have several stainless cups and bottles but this is one of my favorites. I've tried most of the popular brands but this is great quality at at great price point.

I already had the 18 ounce of this when I purchased it. I decided to get the larger size. The first one that was shipped to me was dented; however, I was able to put in for an exchange. The second product was very good quality. I cannot speak to the temperature stability for hot beverages, but it keeps things cold for a long period of time. I purchased the 40 ounce navy blue, and it does not leak. The lack of leaking is very important to me, as this does not fit inside of a regular cupholder.

My husband had been using a 64oz REI plastic bottle for close to five years. He had recently mentioned he would like to switch to metal, and he still wanted something sizable without it being obnoxiously large and therefore, a nuisance to carry. We also avoid reusable bottles with straws; they’re a pain to clean. This 40oz Takeya fit the bill, and it was one of the more budget-friendly options with excellent reviews regarding its leak-proof feature. It even comes with a rubber boot and sip-port lid, things you typically have to pay extra for when buying bottles from other brands. It fits in his business backpack bottle sleeve without the rubber boot too. If I wasn’t already using a Klean Kanteen bottle, I’d probably buy myself one of these instead. Great buy.

I’ve been using this for the last 2 years and it’s has been excellent at keeping my water cool till the next day and it’s easy to clean.
