The pattern is fine but really depends on your definition of what a small, medium and large dog are. The largest size accommodated my working cocker spaniel at just under 4 months and he grew out of it quickly. But on the plus side, I have used the pattern to make a larger pattern for him. All in all, it's an ok pattern, to understand the dog proportions if nothing else.

Just the pattern I have been looking for for agesA 4 legged coat and a 2 legged coat in same patternBut with out all the silly stuffI have a little dog but had to use the medium size pattern and then only just fits.In a fleece with limited stretch.But great pattern just make sure u measure well.

Good pattern, easy to follow. As top line says, very small and probably fine for types of small dog in the pattern pictures, but I added panels to make it fit and one underneath to keep her clean and dry

Easy to follow and made my dog a lovely coat . Unfortunately she will not walk in it !

I had read throgh the reviews where people stated there were no crochet patterns for coats only accessories.I wanted to sew .I looked through the pages that were available to view before purchase and there are four listed. when the book arrived I found they are all the same pattern in different fabrics not 4 different designs and styles.Also an A3 photocopier is required to enlarge the paper pattern from a pattern approx 10 x15 cm .I am not a great knitter but do alot of crafting, so only briefly looked through these pages.this book is not for me.

The pattern was too small ....for a large dog and my dog is only a spaniel and medium sized at the most....

Love this item as you can make pet pjs . Love seeing my boy in his pjs. I am not an expert in sewing but find it really easy to use , the paten comes in different sizes whitch is great and love that you can costume make vloths for your pet .Can't wait to make him christmas pjs

I'm no professional but can use a sewing machine. I wanted a dog coat for the winter months but didn't want to pay £30 for one. I bought a thin fleece throw for £1.60 from a big Swedish store and made pattern A. Easy to do and simple instructions and fitted my Cavalier King Charles very well.
