Gutermann Jeans 30mtr/33yd Top-Stitch Polyester Thread, Antique Gold, 5.5x1.8x1.8 cm

It's the extra-strong stuff so basically double the thickness of ordinary thread, so not ideal for lightweight fabrics and it occasionally tangles when I'm trying to thread the machine. It really holds things together, though, and the colour is a good match for denim.

This is truly heavy duty thread, it needs a large eyed needle. Colour is a bright gold. Not yet washed so don’t know if it will fade, if it did it would then blend in a bit which would be fine.

Quick delivery and is good for deceptive thread for the Jeans I was sewing. Slightly more yellow gold than I was expecting, this was my error though, but still worked well and wasn’t that noticeable that it was a slightly different colour.

It arrived in good time and the thread is good quality, but to be honest I was dissapointed in the colour. It's a dark yellow more than a gold. To call it gold suggests a metallic nature and there was no shine with this, which had been what I wanted.
