The Iron Kingdom (Dawn of Fire: Warhammer 40,000 Book 5)

The Dawn of Fire sputters out.
In a nut shell and weak and rather insipid Book 5.If you have read the previous 4, then give it a go. If not, avoid.

pritty good
When I read some of the reviews for this book I went in a little apprehensive, but I must say I really enjoyed it, its not the best book ever, but I found it a lot of fun.

Can be skipped.
I struggled to finish it. The story was mixed and awful. Added little to the direction of the series. Naming of Black Templar as Morrigan the goddess of war was ridiculous. As were the fight scenes. You could skip this and miss nothing.

Not great
Too many characters that had no real backstory to, you couldn’t really care what happened to anyone because of this. Also I’m not a fan of thing just happening with no real development. Feels like it was written fast and published faster.

Bland and rather dull
The title of the review about sums it up really. What has been an incredible series so far has been let down by this book. All of the previous series character development is gone and in its place a dull written by numbers effort that I struggled to get through.
