Heliopan 67mm Rubber Lens Hood (71067H)

I bought this to use on the new Fujifilm 27mm ƒ/28 R WR lens. I have not used this hood yet as I have been waiting for this lens to be available in the US since March 2021. I would like to see Hoage make a square hood for this lens also, I have two Hoage hoods for other Fujifilm lenes and they fit well.

Parfait pour monter sur un grand angle 28mm Nikon 2.8 ai-s diamètre 52mm. Fonctionne nickel. Pas de vis standard. Du haut de gamme. Fonctionne parfaitement sur télémétrique Yashica 35 cc conservation de la visée telemetrique pas de vignetage.

Sauber verarbeitet, (wirklich) "matt"schwarz lackiert, angabegemäß deutsche Wertarbeit, wofür ein strammer Preis erhoben wird. Diese Kurz- und auch Telesonnenblenden von Heliopan gibt es m.E. seit mindestens 30 Jahren und sie haben einen großen Vorteil gegenüber den sonst billig aus Fernost angebotenen: Sie sind streng zylindrisch, d.h. eine 77er Blende hat auch vorne einen Durchmesser von 77mm, wodurch die Original-Objektivkappe vorne drauf paßt oder die Blende mit einer weiteren verlängert werden kann. Schließlich und endlich wirkt auf den Porträtierten eine 77er Blende weniger aufdringlich als eine mit Frontdurchmesser 82mm. Gut, daß es dieses Produkt noch gibt.

I bought the short version of this hood for my Fujifilm XF 27mm. It's perfect from what I can see so far. I love how it's the same diameter at both ends, so I can just put the lens cap on it. It's not long enough to cause any vignetting, which I've tested for. For the same reason, it doesn't take too much away from the 'pancake-ness' of the lens either. It just makes the lens look like it's focus breathing a bit. I've tried the lens on some obvious candidates for flaring and wash out, and things do seem improved.
