Beautiful!!!
Very good taste, especially without milk (! Brr I don’t like tea with milk!) you can taste the different flavours of the mix and the pyramid shape of the tea bags helps the flavour 😊

Extremely mild and delicate black tea
Depending on what you’re after from these teabags, I’d describe them as either “fine and delicate” or “weak”.As a black tea, it’s quite a gentle brew, decidedly short of the bitterness that I think most people would expect from a black tea. It’s almost floral in tone, like an Earl Grey but without some of the more interesting sweeter or citrus-like characteristics. Or alternatively it’s like an Assam but without some of that biscuity maltiness. It’s very drinkable as a light black tea, but it does lack distinctive characters somewhat.Against milk, it loses. This tea is so mild that even the slightest dash of milk turns it into a pale anaemic cuppa, it’s almost as though the tea evaporates and the only taste you’re left with is hot watered-down milk. It’s definitely not your builder’s breakfast tea that wants to compete with PG Tips.I’m reviewing the “Tea Bags Refill” here, though why it is branded “refill” isn’t entirely clear- it is a regular box of tea just like any you might buy in a supermarket, with an outer card box and an inner ‘natureflex’ plastic-like but recyclable bag.The branding and presentation is rather smart, on a par with a brand like Teapigs but with the slightly more traditional box approach. The gold embossed box does have a premium, “impress the guests” feel to it. Each bag is individually tagged and the shape and string are, again, much like Teapigs. It’s a somewhat neutral cup of breakfast tea, only worth trying if you drink tea black. I rather like it, but at the current asking price of over six quid for eighteen bags, it doesn’t quite manage to have enough distinctive flavour or enough “ahhhh” to compete against some other similarly-priced premium brands.

Put the kettle on!
My dad loves a cup of tea, and is especially keen on black tea in particular. He had never tried babingtons prior to this box, so was keen to try them out. They are a little pricey for the amount you get, and I think £7 for 18 bags is very overpriced. My dad tried them within minutes of their arrival, but I must say he wasn't blown away. He said they have a different taste to the tea he is used to, which is only natural considering it is different tea and contains ingredients he isn't used to drinking. That said, I don't think it was quite to his taste, and unfortunately both the taste and price would put him off returning to them. Others may like them, so I'd say give them a try and decide for yourself. For my dad though, they were not quite for him and he will probably be sticking to tetley.

Premium tea. Great for special occasions
There's no doubting that this is a great tasting tea. The flavour is strong, but has a good depth to it. You can easily get 2 mugs out of it if you pop the bag in a teapot. The colour is also quite nice. You can definitely taste the different teas used in the blend, with the whole flavour range being just right. This is truly a fantastic breakfast tea.The price is the only thing not in its favour. 38p per bag is quite expensive, especially if you're the king of person that drinks several cups of tea per day.Overall, I'm impressed and can definitely recommend. Add a drop of milk and sweetener / sugar to taste and you have a fantastic cup of tea to enjoy.

A good quality breakfast tea at a premium price
This Breakfast Special Blend Tea by Babingtons is a good quality tea which – at the price - is ideal as an occasional treat rather a regular brew. There are some tips given for brewing a perfect cuppa but if you use teabags regularly you will have your own procedure that suits you best. To appreciate this subtle blend you may want to drink it black, but milk and sugar are a personal taste and I've tried a dash of milk and that worked for me too. Although quite expensive – currently a little under seven pounds for 18 biodegradable teabags – it does tick some eco-friendly boxes for production and presentation. This is a tasty cuppa that I will drink at weekends with a cooked breakfast – but at about 38p per cup I'm not sure if that will become a regular thing. A five star blend that gets only three stars for value – a four star average.

Delicious start of the day
When the package arrived, I eagerly opened it and prepared my first cup. The aroma instantly enveloped me, and I knew I was in for a treat. The first sip was like a warm embrace, as the rich and robust flavours danced on my taste buds. I added a dash of milk, and the experience was elevated even further. The blend seemed to harmonise perfectly with the creaminess, creating an indulgent and satisfying taste.Every morning, I now look forward to this cup of tea - it's become an essential part of my daily routine. The delightful combination of flavours makes waking up something to truly savour. In short, this tea blend has become my go-to morning beverage. If you're a tea lover seeking a refreshing and delightful experience, this special blend is well worth a try

Not my cup of tea
This wasn't too my taste unfortunately, I found this tea very weak but also a little too bitter.I have a heart condition so I have to limit my caffeine; I usually find tea much easier on me than coffee but for some reason the caffeine in this seemed to hit me really hard. A friend liked it though, so it isn't necessarily bad, but it wasn't my cup of tea

Light and aromatic!
I got these tea bags for my girlfriend who loves drinking tea, especially loose leaf tea. Although these are bagged, the triangle bags still give off the taste of loose leaf without the need for a teabag. They are a lovely strong flavour, which is light and aromatic and make a nice change to PG tips – I would definitely recommend trying this if you like a black tea.My girlfriend said that the triangle shape allows for the tea leaves to expand fully, which enhances the flavour and aroma of the tea. The tea also brews quickly and efficiently, making it a great option for a busy morning or afternoon break. She also loved the packaging too, and will be ordering some more as gifts for friends who also love black tea.
