Pretty good at cleaning waste.
It works fairly well for what it is supposed to do. It traps the waste inside it. I have a pretty good air pump attached to it, but it doesn't get everything I thought it would. I bought some power head pumps to help move the waste around, and hope it will help this product out. I would recommend for this, but it isn't magic.

great for bare bottom tank
Pro: Picks up a lot of fish poop, easy to clean.Pro: I no longer have to vacume the tank, this is a nice time saver.Con: I have some fry in my tank and there is usually one caught inside, and that can take some care to let it out without spilling out a lot of poop.

Do NOT buy this!
Typical Chinese garbage. The unit would, "in theory" only work in an empty tank with no gravel or sand, but I couldn't even confirm that much since it didn't produce any suction at all. Additionally, the unit is massive, it takes up nearly 10% of a 50 gallon tank. I couldn't tell you if part of the problem was incorrect installation, because directions were printed on the box in Chinese, and the English translation was essentially just a gibberish mash up of random English words. The unit arrived covered in grease, with rough production edges, and cracks in the plastic. It also had water spots indicating that it had been previously used.I missed the return deadline so this is just going in the trash now, but save your money, do not buy this product.

works great on a bear bottom tank
I have purchased three of these suction filters. works great on a bear bottom tank. I’ve found it works best with lots of air flow. It’s not going to magically remove everything off the bottom of the tank but it does a good job. Keeps my flowerhorns tanks clean and provides plenty of aireration.

working well
I bought this product in two months ago. It is working very well in my 200 gal tank with air pump on for 24 hours a day. It sucks many of fish waste into its bottom. After using for two months, the water in my tank became very clean now

Works well.
Works pretty well and is easy to clean. It definitely helps remove some of the excess food and waste from the bottom.

Put instructions in the box
This did nothing I don’t know how it was suppose to work. This was a waste of my money so disappointed
