An unusual concept - but brilliantly executed. Many twists and turns - and the ending is not what you expect. Characters you invest it - then it turns on its head!! Fantastic.

Look forward to reading more from this author.I really enjoyed this book; it Gave me that really tense, on the edge of your seat feeling. I felt very invested in the characters and the story. Highly recommend it to people who enjoy a quick and easy to follow thrillers like those by Lisa jewel.

This book started so well and was a great premise. I enjoyed the first half and was quite gripped but then the plot seemed to descend into unbelievable daftness and I lost interest. I finished it but felt it didn’t live up to its promise.

In my opinion this is the best thriller that Niki Mackay has written, read the book within one day as I was gripped from the first to the last page. Kept me guessing the whole time, and the twist at the end was absolutely brilliant. Loved the characters as they were totally relatable. Highly recommend this book to lovers of thrillers, you will not be disappointed.

I have read a few reviews saying they couldn’t predict the ending. I’m not one of those. I figured out most of it!I still thought it was a great read and it kept me gripped.It’s well written and has good characters; but unbelievable characters. I don’t know anyone that would act like that in real life. If you put that aside then it’s a great read.

Full of twists, right up until the end. I enjoyed the story, characters and writing style. A great read. My 1st by this author.

Easy read even though I did skim through the same explanations that were brought up throughout the book about failed friendships and dealing with life. Sort of a scattered story. Weird ending. I wouldn’t say it was thriller, but the ending wasn’t expected.

The first third of the book was good. But after a while it lost steam. The last portion of the book was not that interesting to me.

This book had me hooked from the beginning I couldn’t figure it out at all. I definitely couldn’t put this book down and awesome page turner!

How far would you go for your best friend, or to have a friend?? I enjoyed this book from the beginning. Loved the London setting and the characters. Three quarters of the way through another character heretofore mainly in the background, becomes front and center. Not liking the new inclusion I thought that the story might be going south. Surprisingly it worked out well, with a surprise ending that I hadn’t fully guessed. Nicely done. O and Warning, if you have never had a child or are thinking of having one, the birth scenes and the nightmare that early parenthood can sometimes be, might give you pause.
