I am so glad I chose this jacket. I've been wearing it a couple months now in all kinds of weather and it has kept me warm when it's cold and windy but not overly warm when temps are up, and it's kept me dry in the rain. I originally ordered a medium, which was a snug fit, and I returned it. I like to wear several thinner layers of clothing when it is cold out and knew I needed a large, which is perfect for me. I am 5 feet tall, 130 pounds. I have worn a form fitting silk mock neck, topped by a Climate Right fleece shirt, under a cotton cardigan, and can easily don and remove the jacket. Even with all that clothing, the jacket has a slenderizing silhouette and is easy to zip. Love the two-way zip, the soft lining, the amazingly deep pockets inside and the easy zip pockets on the outside. I find hoods annoying but the hood does fit well and removes easily, so I fold it and put it in the deep inside pocket when rain is forecast. I love the deep grey heather color which goes with all my clothes, shoes and boots. This is a very well made high-quality jacket with excellent stitching and easy to use zippers, even if it were double or triple the price. I toss it around a lot when out shopping or on the bus and it never looks wrinkled. I know this is a bit long for a review, but this is the best jacket I have ever had and wish I could buy one for everyone I know!!!

I really like this fleece lined long jacket. I am 5'8", 225 lbs and the XXL is perfect. Cinch the waist for a taylored fit. Wear looser to wear a sweater or layers during cooler weather. Looks great with and without the hood. I ordered black and it has a black fleece lining which looks really good. The jacket is car length for great rear end coverage. The two way zipper is a great feature. So are the inside pockets. The sleeves are a good length and can be tightened to keep out the cold. The quality is very nice. This was an excellent choice for me.

The media could not be loaded. I had a jacket very similar to this one and accidentally left it on a train last year. I’ve been looking for a replacement ever since. When I saw this on October 11-12 Amazon days, I had to order it! I received it today, 10/13, and couldn’t wait to see it. The jacket was tightly folded and packed in a zip lock type bag. The packaging offered a great view of the jacket. The next thing I noticed was how soft the outer shell is and I had to do a video review of my new favorite jacket. Inside is very soft fleece lining, even in the hood. It looks like it will keep me warm in the Fall and early spring. The outer shell feels like it will repel the rain and I will do a follow up review when I wear it in the rain. The XL fit is perfect for me. FYI, I am 208 lbs and 5’6” tall. I love how it fits a bit longer in the back. The plum color, I think they called it purple red heather, is beautiful. It appears to be well made especially around the seams and the detachable hood. The hood is securely attached by a zipper and Velcro. The front tabs of the hood are velcroed and fit snugly as you can see by one of the images I uploaded. The pockets are deep and that’s a nice surprise for me. So far I don’t see anything I don’t like.

Updated- I had this for several months in the winter and rain and will wear again when the weather changes. I decided it was 4 starts inteatd of 3. It really repels water excellent. The seams may be only water resistant (if you get soaked), not uncommon at seams, and the body so far has kept me dry. Sometimes I got overheated when my body temp got up walking the neighborhood with just a thin layer underneath. If your moving about on a cold day vs inactive the warmth will obviously vary. (Same to be said for my 800 fill down jacket). I've been very satisfied with this jacket in the rain and cold.Original- Tags for this jacket indicate WATER RESISTANT, so it is NOT waterproof as the product description text and pics advertise. Their other identical jacket with non-detachable hood seems to also have the same (false?) advertising.Hopefully the water resistant claim per the tag is accurate or I just won't accept paying for something that doesn't meet the purpose I expected and have to return it. My other jackets are so old they don't keep the water out anymore. The forecast has rain coming so this feature is TBD.That said, Pros are the comfort and quality of this jacket, it is fantastic and has great workmanship. Great features like the large zippered pockets and zippered removable hood, hidden drawstring waist. This is somewhat of a mid-weight jacket because the light fleece lining. I find that makes it versatile for a wider range of temps.I'm 5'4, 125 lbs and a Small fit me perfect and their measurements do seem accurate to me which I used to held decide a size. It's not taylored extra roomy in the arms/undersrms; they are like a straight cut, so bulky under layers could make for snug arms.

I bought the XXL windbreaker and usually wear a L or XL. A good choice, for extra room to move around in I haven't worn it in the cold weather, but with layering it will be just right. I like the length, mid thigh. I like the looks overall. The standup collar lends a fashionable flair to the overall look. I removed the hood and put it in one of the big pockets inside. The lining is a thin fleece that mekes this a versatile garment. The sleeves are a tad long however, there is a velcro strip at the wrists to snug it up. The double zipper is so workable and useful. I like the jacket and probably will wear it for many winters. High recommendations for this Outdoor Ventures womens windbreaker.

Maybe the best quality and value I've ever gotten from Amazon! The jacket does all that it promises and is very well made. It's very warm while being also very light. I really appreciate the BIG pockets. I could list all the features but you can read them on the product page. You will not be disappointed!

This is not a warm cozy jacket! It's cute and fits well, but I can NOT wear for Winter.

Bought this on a Black Friday sale. Amazing quality and the fit looks great! I originally ordered a small but (found it a bit snug in the hips) so ordered a medium and it’s perfect with room for a sweater/fleece underneath if needed. I am 5’8” and 135 pounds and often wear small but medium is a better fit. Waist and wrists are adjustable and there are fleece lined zipper pockets + an inside pocket for phone etc. The lining is super soft and it’s pretty lightweight and not bulky. Great value for price :)

I read numerous glowing reviews and I have to concur, it's a beautiful coat. Nice light weight but on Vancouver Island I think it will almost serve as a winter coat. Very good quality. The inside lining, although the color is a bit of a miss for the look it's super cozy. Has everything I like in a coat, 2 way zip, detachable hood, waterproof and gorgeous fabric. Also the price is right, not too expensive

I needed a jacket that was reasonably priced and covered my bottom. Looks good and comfortable. Fits well too.
