Dr. Martens Men's Icon Holkham St Safety Boots

I've had the boots for 2 months now and they are amazing. I'm a warehouse worker who's mainly working outside maintaining a large area that had pallets if compost. The boots have not leaked, they are very warm and have a lot of traction for slippy surfaces. The steel toecap is the best I have ever had I've dropped pallets, bags if 20kg aggragates, knives, stubbed my foot on the forks of a fork truck and Had an electronic pump truck go over my toes, they are so good that not only do I still have my toes but the material hasn't broke!The material is of high quality, leather and the soul. The eyelet's are very strong. I would recommend purchasing some more laces though. You can't actually tell that they are work boots, they do look like your big Standard DM'sBreaking in has taken some time and I've been wearing them in 42 houred weed shifts. They just broke in 2 weeks back. Expect the STC to dig into your toes and some heel blisters. I definitely would recommend thick socks and alot of patience!Over all a great product!

I use mine for working on my cars and they're great. Considerably sturdier and chunkier than the fashion Docs but look almost as good. Thick old Doc style soles for good grip and with a warm lining inside. Decent boots for the money considering how expensive most Dr. Martens are, and these ones are actually practical. Probably not the best safety boots for the price but a very good all-rounder.

I actually ordered these by mistake - I thought I'd ordered the Dr Marten original but when the item came I realised I'd ordered the safety boot version, with steel toe cap. I debated sending them back but they looked good and so I thought I'd keep them - I wanted them for work anyway, I'm a bus driver. Considering that these have a steel toe cap and are built to protect your feet they are incredibly comfortable, almost feels like you have a trainers on your feet. I'm well pleased with these and am now glad that I ordered the wrong style' Lovely

I'd seen a lot of bad reviews for the non-British made Docs, but these are great, every bit as good as the Made in England DMs. Good strong and well made boot, looks cool with the steel toe and good value for €100. Bought for casual wear, not work wear, and after a bit of breaking in they are as comfy as can be, though the boots are still in their infancy so we'll see how that fares out. Probably not the best footwear for driving due to the size of the soles, kinda difficult to be nimble of foot in them.

I normally purchase from another company but as this boot has been discontinued I had to purchase from amazon. Firstly the boot itself is an excellent product however where I used to purchase it from, because it has a steel toecap, it is classed as a safety boot therefore VAT free. Forced to buy as can't find alternative

I was not expecting the boots to arrive for a week or so after ordering. I ordered them after midnight on the Thursday and they arrived on the Saturday - fantastic service!! The boots themselves are perfect, fit lovely and very comfy. I'd say they're not suitable for wide feet, and buy yourself some hiking socks to help break them in. Very pleased all round.

Arrivati nei tempi stabiliti .DR MARTENS ORIGINALI steel cap con suola a carrarmato sono garanzia di durata e comfort, perfettamente impermeabili se vengono curati a modo (ingrassati quando li riponi per i mesi caldi :io uso il grasso DR M.) durano anni anche a chi come me li porta tutti i giorni. Pesano 950 gr. ciascuno ma sembrano una piuma.La prima volta che li compro con l'imbottitura interna.I miei hanno già più di 3 anni!!Anche se li fanno in Cina.... PERFETTI LI AMO

Tengono molto caldo perchè sono imbottite dentro. Peccato che ho dovuto restituirle perchè troppo grandi. Fate attenzione alla scelta del numero. Sono un po' pesanti ma hanno la punta rinforzata quindi è anche normale che lo siano

Super VERNÄHT, erstklassige DOC'S. Mit leichtem innenfutter habe sie jetzt 3 Tage und die Stiefel beginnen sich schon an meinen Füßen anzupassen. Toll. 100% Doc Martins. Siehe Bilder Besonders das extrem leichte innenfutter erleichtert es extrem die Passform der Stiefel an den Fuss anzupassen. Angenehmer denn jeh. Frúher hatte jeder ca 3 bis 5 Wochen '"Zeit"' bis die Stiefel endlich passte. Nun 3 bis max 1 Woche auch mit 100% baumgestrickte Socken. Bei den Alten Modellen 2005 bis 2015(18) Wollte und wollte das spitzen Leder einfach nicht ohne Blase an der Ferse heften bleiben bzw um den eigenem induviduellen Schuh zu haben. Nun in 3 Tagen ohne offene Fersen.

Hatte diese Art von Stahlkappen-Docs schon als junger Alternative (heißt heute Goth)/Punk/Grunge-Fan getragen und habe mir einfach mal ein neues Paar bestellt, da ich für Turnschuhe allmählich zu alt werde.Warum Stahlkappen? Genau so ein Modell hat mir mehrmals die Füße vor den Fahrkünsten eines Kumpels gerettet (hinten einsteigen wollen und Kumpel fährt schon los).Wer weiß, da ich beruflich mit elektrischen Rollstühlen zu tun habe, sollen meine Füße auch weiterhin heile bleiben und ich fand sie in meiner jungen Erwachsenen Zeit irre bequem, auch wenn sie etwas schwerer sind.Heutzutage "Made in China", aber bisher ist nichts negativ aufgefallen und müssen noch intensiv eingelatscht werden.
