Strong bleach powder, worth it
The ratio I used to mix the bleach powder to developer was 1:1.5 (one part bleach powder, to 1.5 parts developer).I used this with 20 vol developer and managed to lift my hair from black to a level 8 in one sitting. This was despite having layers upon layers of box dye in various shades of dark brown and black and even bright reds. I genuinely thought it would only lift to an awful orange so I was pleasantly surprised!I've used other bleach powders with vol 40 developer and didn't get this level of lift before. It is worth investing in a good bleach powder and lower volume developer to maintain the integrity of your hair.
