Great set of magnetic fish with multiple play options
Sure, this being a Montessori toy it's not like the mechanical ones that have a base that spins and fish mouths opening and closing but it's more imaginative and offers fun play options with the various cards. The fish are light and the magnets work well and are sized well for the base with the holes in it. It's simple to use and setup or just play around without doing one of the themed play cards. Having 2 fishing rods or wands are great given we have twins and they don't need to take turns fishing and can play with each others with just the pieces offered in this set.

Fishy Magnets!
I got this set for my three year old niece, and it seemed to be a hit. She loved using the pole to catch fish one at a time, We didnt really get into the "game" part where you use the flash cards for different patterns and whatnot, but we may get to that down the line. At the end of the day, it seemed well liked by her.

Fun game for young kids
It seems like a decently fun game for young kids, although it's really simple. My nephew didn't quite understand how to hold the pole, but he was able to use the magnet to get all the fish out. I don't think it would be as fun for 5+ year olds. My nephew is 3.

Quality product, more educational instructions?
This is a very well made product. The fish attach via magnet to the fishing pole when extended close to it.It comes in a nice box and is very giftable. It comes with cards that slip into the bottom to allow the child to play educational games, but it's not clear to me how that works and there are no instructions on the educational part. Each fish has a letter on one side. For the child to match colors or letters they would have to be reverse fishing, putting the fish into the corresponding hole. Maybe it's just not clear to me. My grandchildren would enjoy just fishing with it.

Quality Toy
This is a really fun game for my kids, and they often played these for at least 30 mins to an hour. It came with 4 activity cards which are great for various play types, but as parents I do wish it also came with instructions or show different ways of playing this to give us a better idea on what are some other ways to play with these. I love these came with bright colors and it definitely has great quality.
