Dogs love their trip to the ‘Nail Salon’
I use this on both of my French bulldogs and find that it suits my needs perfectly. The quality is good, it’s sturdy and holds charge for a long time. I love that it’s cordless but can be used whilst charging if needed. It’s not heavy and doesn’t make my hand ache at all, about the right size for the job. Very easy to use, I was ready to go within a couple of minutes. The bevelled edge is great at smoothing out jagged edges on dogs nails. Having lights on each side is a fabulous feature as it decreases the chances of grinding down too far. In a perfect world it would come with extra heads, I’d love a tiny one to get into crevices when needed (one dog has a couple of nails that curl into their pad) but I knew this grinder didn’t come with it so it’s fine. I’d recommend to others as long as you work with your dog to ensure they’re comfortable. Not too noisy so definitely easier to accustom dogs to over others.

Good sturdy item
Hope this continues for my dogs Very quiet and easy to hold. Actually managed to use this first go on my retrievers. They sat as though I was filing their nails. When usually seeing the clippers then run for the hills. Very happy with it as long as I take it slowly with them.

Very good
This is a fairly quiet machine so it helps teach puppies and nervous dogs that it's OK to have their nails trimmed.It's easy to use and the lights are brilliant because you can see the quick so much better.Excellent sturdy, quality machine and the battery performs, well. I've used it quite a bit and it's not needed recharging yet.Important to make sure you clean it as instructed to keep the sander sharp

Absolutely brilliant!
My dog gets so distressed getting her nails done at the vets!Using this she lays in her bed and just lets me file them down with absolutely no stress at all!Couldn’t recommend it more BRILLIANT!

Not quiet as advertised
It’s as loud as a man’s electric shaver/hair clippers which both my dogs were scared by. Certainly not ‘quiet’ as advertised. Even one of my dogs who is never scared by anything ran off when I tried to get near her with it. So I can’t comment on how well it trims as we didn’t get that far. I purchased this to try as one of my dogs won’t let me clip his nails with manual clippers but I’ll have to keep searching for an alternative.

Very pleased
This arrived this morning and I used it straight way on my dog. The noise level is very quiet and as he was not worried by it after a sniff I thought I would give it a go. I only did a little bit on each nail as I had clipped them only a few days ago. My dog laid very quiet while I did his toes and he had a treat after each paw was done. So much easier than clippers and I found he did not tend to pull his front paws away slightly as he has done with clippers. All in all a very relaxed experience for my dog and myself as I was not worried about catching the quick as I had with clippers. It will be so much easier now to keep his nails short which is better for agility. Would recommend this grinder for noise level and easy to use and it fits nicely in the hand...

Less triggering for dogs but very very slow
It’s pretty quiet and my usually twitchy dogs tolerate it better than clippers but they still don’t like it. It works but the grinding goes very slowly so it takes a really long time to make an my difference, so the dog has more time to react to it.

Great grinder, great value!
I'm a big fan of this dremmel. I was on the hunt for one once I decided that I no longer wanted to shell out to get my dog's nails done at the groomers. He has thick nails, and this dremmel works great on them. The grinding head is sturdy, the motor is powerful and quiet, the light feature is very helpful for ensuring you don't grind too much nail. Having a quieter grinder means it's easier for your pet to adjust to it, and the powerful motor helps to make those nail grinds go quicker. These are great features for my impatient, squirrely dog. It takes a bit of getting used to a nail dremmel, if you're new to doing your pet's nails. But it's worth the learning curve for you and your pet. If you're debating, give this nail dremmel a shot.

Gute alternative zur Krallenschere
Wir benutzen den Trimmer da unsere Hündin ein Problem mit dem Krallenschneiden mit der Schere hat.Nach einigen Trainingseinheiten lässt sie es gut über sich ergehen.Durch die Lampe vorne hat man gute Sicht und kann gut schauen wo das „Leben“ von der Kralle anfängt.Das Gerät ist relativ leise und der Akku hält lange wir haben ihn bisher nur selten Laden müssen.Die 2 Stufen sind auch super die stärkere 2. Stufe benutze ich zum kürzen und die 1. für die Feinheiten.Die Handhabung ist super.Am Nagel direkt muss man natürlich etwas aufpassen da es durch die Reibung warm wird aber das ist normal.
