This iron is the best iron I’ve ever owned! The steam function is my favorite! It has a closure that snaps closed so the water cannot spill out. The iron is very well made and has a nice weight to it. It is black and I wish it came in white as well. I’m going to buy two more for my daughter and son.

This is such a nice iron. There are some plastic components but I think those were chosen so that it’s not too heavy. It has a great precision tip. I sew & knit, so I rely on that tip and the excellent steamer for professional looking garments. The temperature settings are accurate. It is a keeper!

I don't know what is happening with the Rowenta brand, but like a lot of other brands, the quality is diminishing. I have been using Rowenta irons for many years and they held up for a good deal of time. But this one and the one I purchased prior to this one have not. This one is supposed to be drip-free but it is not. It drips on a regular basis and it also spits white particles when I press the steam button. It's a total waste of money. I'll be looking at other brands of irons in the future.

My first Rowenta and I love it! I don’t like to iron but this makes it almost pleasurable. Slides easy, not heavy, great steam delivery, pointed tip works great on collars and trims. I find the temperature dial a little hard to see the way it’s positioned under the handle but am sure I’ll get used to it. Best thing is that I got an iron made in Germany even though the listing said made in China! Thank you Amazon!

I ordered these “brand new” irons and it looks like they’ve been tossed around by the samsonite gorilla. They seem new, but every one of these boxes have been opened and each iron is full of dust. I have yet to use them, but I’m not feeling very confident about my purchase, to be honest. I shouldn’t have to clean a brand new product.
