I bought this product for the main reason for my holidays if i was out and about and did not have access to a power supply. i have used this item once on my last holiday when i was out of the whole day and my battery was low. It fully charged my battery and i was able to continue taking pictures and receiving calls. My mobile is fairly new so the battery is still good. i will probably take it out on a day to day basis when mobile battery is unable to hold it charge for prolonged periods!

Overall it's not bad considering the price, but then again it's got too many issues for me to recommend either.
After several months of use now I feel I've got a good impression of the product. The quality of the case is very good with a rubberised finish it doesn't show finger prints much and has a nice look and smooth touch. The two prongs that secure the phone into the case aren't nearly strong enough though and it comes off fairly easily at the top. Although the phone never falls out due to having the case inserted into the phones charging port at the bottom, I'd imagine this puts a little unnecessary stress on the port though. Also having only happened once, the top actually came away from the body of it, although it was easy enough to clip back on, but this is due to wear I fear. The battery life is very good and it will charge the phone up to 100% easily for the first month, with juice left to spare, it seems to have gotten a little less already but is still doing 100% just not with as much for another charge after. The biggest gripe I have with this case is that when on charge at night the LED's are very very bright and are very distracting. Which you may say "oh just turn the phone over so they're facing down", but the issue is then that the phone screen keeps coming on every 15 seconds. It seems that whilst charging the case it cycles through charging the phone too, so the charging on the phone keeps turning on and off repeatedly. So at night on charge the phone has to live in a draw which isn't ideal as it also acts as my alarm and clock. One thing I do like and actually prefer over the phone on it's own (or with other cases,) is that this case has two grills for the down-firing speaker to channel up through and come out front-firing instead. Which is obviously nicer as most people tend to hold their phone with the screen facing them, when phone manufactures catch onto this in a big way who knows? But still it's a nice little feature when the speaker could've been blocked off or kept down-firing.One more gripe is that I find because the button is single push on the case, that pocket charging happens quite often, when maybe I don't necessarily want the phone charging. This could be alleviated with a flush slide switch instead.Overall it's not bad considering the price, but then again it's got too many issues for me to recommend either.

Just the job for an easy 'on the go' S7 edge recharge wjhen you most need it!
This is a great way to add another days charge to your Samsung S7 edge. As someone who uses their phone heavily, even with the decent battery life of the standard phone, I can find it's close to empty on a long day travelling or on London... just when you need it to find that last taxi home! I have used external battery packs which work fine but add yet another item to carry plus usually a cable to loose! With a hiking trip to Morocco planned where I knew there would be few recharge points and where I knew I would need to use battery draining GPS and maps, this KiWiBird battery pack seemed (and was!) an ideal solution.+ Points:Fits the S7 edge well and securely - giving good drop protection (I inadvertently tested that on a rocky surface and both it and phone survived unharmed. It is easy to pull the top up to open the battery case and insert the phone (it's slightly harder to pull the slim Samsung out once inserted but no major issue)Gives at least another 100% full charge to the phone - probably more.Comes with a headphone extender cable (the case does add depth to the bottom of the phone - so some (wide/angled) headphone jacks would not fit otherwise.- points:The battery pack itself will not fast charge. It will however allow the phone to fast charge as normal, but the pack then charges at standard speed (needs a few hours to 100%) - Adds weight to your phone - (though not too much size) Some may find this an issue - compared to having a separate booster battery which could stay in another pocket or bag until needed. However, for me the convenience of just pushing the boost button and charging the phone, no cables needed!.... more than offset the extra bulk when on long trips. For day to day use I just return the phone to its normal case, and use this KiWiBird battery case when I know I will be travelling.Summary:Recommended. The case is well made, seems durable, is easy to use and does what you need, re-charge your phone on the fly when you need a top up, with the minimum of fuss. (it was also well priced compared to many other cases - while the more costly options do not appear to do anything this does not).

Good value for money. Better than taking a power bank around for one device
Good fit, works well. This item will always charge your phone before it charges itself up.So this device only really starts charging once your phone is 100% first.A very nice device to own, saves you from sending your s7 edge away for a battery replacement.you cann access most of the features and button easily. This case does not offer much in the way of protection.

Good value for money
I have to say, this battery case is the best out of all others for the s7 edge as it has a 5000mAh and supports fast charging. Other s7 edge battery cases I have seen are cheaply made and are terrible or are too expensive and not worth it, unlike this one which is great value for money and does the job. However there are drawbacks like not having a kickstand but you can easily manage. All this case needs is a kickstand and it would get my 5 out of 5
