the design for it is mostly great, except for that curve next to the USB-C port. The Change input is way to slow for a Quest 3, it's not even enough to keep it charged at the same level for a while. It would just trickle charge, or slowly discharge over an hour.

I saw a review where a person said they could not get their arctis 7 wireless dongle working.The thing is, you actually have to pair the dongle back to your headphones to get it to work on the quest.Enter the dongle pair mode, hold power on the headphones for pairing.Had to figure this out as my headphones would not work until I did that.

I purchased this item to be able to connect a USB-C thumbdrive to my Oculus Quest 2 at the same time as power. When I plugged in the USB drive i could read the data just fine. The moment I plugged in power at the same time the USB became unreadable. I thought, "hmm, I must have had a bad SanDisk USB-C drive" so I tried another... It killed it as well. Now both USB drives no longer work on any computer. If you buy this, make sure to test it with USB drives that have data that you do not care about, because odds are you are going to kill your USB-C thumbdrive as well.

It doesn't charge and do steam link at the same time

Note: This is an updated review after support reached out to me.Originally, I bought this and tested it with a 5M VRCover USB-C cable. It would not work, or would only work at USB 2.0 speeds. I left a one star review because 3.0 is nearly a requirement for wired VR (2.0 is basically airlink speeds). NexiGo reached out to me to try and make it right, and provided me a replacement unit as well as one of their own cables that you can find on Amazon or their site. I also grabbed two additional random USB 3 cables to test in the meantime.The only cable I could get working with both adapters I now had was the NexiGo cable. The adapter swap didn't actually help in getting the VR Cover cable working. I said as much to the NexiGo representative who reached out to me. So my suggestion at this time if you want this product is also to purchase NexiGo's cable along with it. Thankfully it's inexpensive.As for how it works (with the working NexiGo cable), it's great. It lets me use the battery on my headset strap and play wired at the same time, keeping my Quest 2 on longer than the cable to my PC would by itself.

It fit snug and works amazingly.

I have the Quest 2 with Elite battery strap. I plugged the battery strap into one port. Then plugged my Arctis Nova 7 usb-c transmitter into the other port. It would not get power and my headset wouldn't connect, no matter what port I tried. Plugging in the Arctis transmitter directly into the headset works. So be warned it wont work for this purpose.

Does what I needed it to do but if it was only a little thinner. Just won’t fit into a case as it sticks out too far

I took a gamble on this as some reviews here said it heloed to charge the headset at the same time as being connected to the pc if you plugged in the power bank first.Utter rubbish!Just gives a constant connect/disconnect sound and doesn't work at all.Save you money and sanity and avoid this product.

Mit etwas Handwerklichen Geschick, passt der Adapter in eine Quest 3 ohne Probleme sitz jetzt auch fest drin. (Man muss lediglich den Kunststoff etwas abschleifen, danach sitzt der Adapter tiefer und somit fester drin. (Ohne optische und technische Einbußen)

So, you have a head strap with a battery and you're looking for a way to use quest link with extended playtime.Great! A splitter would be great for that, the images even insinuate that's what it does! Nope.If you're connected to quest link a battery bank will not charge your headset, if you're charging then quest link wont connect. This is already the problem I had before I bought this garbage that's now probably going to end up in landfill.Save your money and buy the Kuject cable.

This item is very low quality and does not fit quest 3.
