This beautiful glass pen came in a gorgeous box, nestled in a foam core, along with a glass piece to rest the pen on, and a bottle of blue ink, that has some iridescence to it. The iridescence settles quickly, and is only noticeable if you hold what you’ve written up to the light at the right angle, but I don’t care about that! I. LOVE. This. Pen! It’s absolutely gorgeous and writes nicely.I’m working on teaching myself calligraphy, but decided that this pen and ink are worthy of my daily journaling, and I can hardly wait until tomorrow so that I can use it.The ink stays a long, long time in the ink channels and, as long as I continue to twist the pen so that the ink can flow from all the channels, it writes for a VERY long time without having to dip it again.If I want more sparkle to my ink, I can kind of mix up the ink with the pen, instead of putting the rubber stopper back in, taking it back out, and all that happens with that.It’s glass, folks, so keep that in mind and keep the box for storage so no mishaps occur with it rolling off the desk, or a mischievous kitty/animal.The ink I got is a lovely blue color - I read that the color isn’t guaranteed; it’s a crapshoot. I may not think it’s so beautiful in the light of day (my package came after dark) but I’m sure it’ll be fine for journal writing and on whatever other crafts I decide to us it. I’m thrilled with my purchase.

I believe I ordered green ink and received one of the blues. Hold a tissue over the rubber stopper when you pull it out of the ink pot to catch any ink that splatters. It was a good price for an intro dip pen. I look forward to trying it with other liquid media.

I bought this for a friend for Christmas last year. It was very pretty indeed. She was so excited to try it however the nip cracked and broke as she was testing it. The box was a beautiful galaxy design and the pen but there's no durability anywhere. Do not buy this as a gift; I specified my friend to be careful with it but it ended up unusable.

I have to say that it is beautiful, absolutely beautiful, however, you have to be very careful with it. It is glass so it will shatter even if you drop it from a small height. I do find it a tad bit scratchy, but you can fix that easily with a little bit of sanding. I personally gave it such low stars because it shattered on the first day I got it. My fault but I’m still dissatisfied about the purchase because of that. Also because the ink is pretty annoying, before you open it, you have to kinda shake it up a little because of the glitter in there, and when you open it, the ink goes everywhere.

I had to take off a star because of sheer disappointment. I ordered this for a specific project and asked for PINK ink... and got blue. Otherwise, the pen is just beautiful, it feels wonderful to hold, writes very smoothly, and looks fantastic sitting on my desk. The blue ink IS pretty... but it's blue and I really, really needed pink.
