Nuaire Drimaster Eco Heat Condensation Control PIV Bundle for Lofts with Hygrometer

My wife and I have had condensation problems for a number of years now, we have tried many things like opening windows , dehumidifiers etc but none really solved the problem. The final straw came when we found mould growth in our daughters bedroom and the pain of spending half hour every morning moping up pools of water was to much. We brought this unit and it was delivered within a few days, installation was fairly easy but I did have my friend a qualified electrician wire the unit up for piece of mind although it is fairly easy if you have good wiring knowledge. We run ours of the light circuit in the roof and that provides ample wattage. We have had the unit for a week now and we have had zero condensation, not one single drop on our windows at all.I was quite taken back how quickly and effectively the unit worked considering just how bad our problem was.The unit is whisper quite and produces a cool air rather than a freezing cold breeze from the loft. We brought the heat version just in case the loft gets extra cold and starts to make the house feel cold. We have also noticed that our daughters room rather than smelling a bit musty smells fresh and clean now. The best test came last night when I ran a bath and could even see in the mirrors in the bathroom. The only point I would point out is for a while we did get a bit of a smell from our smelly loft coming through, nothing to moan about and nothing that an air freshener hasn't dealt with on the landing. Would I recommend this product ?, yes I would without a hesitation, its the best £320 ive ever spent.

Bought this to assist with poor air quality/damp in my property that was causing black mould.Togeather with two additional air vents (100mm diameter) installed through the walls of the bungalow, it has eliminated the damp and this is as checked by a hydrometer I have set up to monitor the moisture in the air... easy to fit (by an electrician) with easy to use controls (and I bought the additional wall mount controller unit), its doing a great job. This version has a very low wattage heating element that takes the chill off the air drawn from the loft space, before its pumped into the property, which helps eliminate cold draughts... well pleased with the unit and very pleased with the results...recommended...

We live in a 170 year old stone terraced cottage. Earlier this year we had new double glazed Windows fitted. We had no idea the problem with condensation this would cause upstairs. Absolutely horrendous! Our bedroom particularly (but all rooms upstairs were bad) . Our bedroom not only had condensation streaming down the windows but also the wall was visibly getting wetter and wetter everytime I looked at it! Black mould everywhere . Very frightening and very upsetting. We could not get that room warm at all, you could smell and feel the horrible damp air, it started going into the wardrobes, it affected our sleep. Just a nightmare! I had no idea what to do. I researched , and decided I didn't want a de humidifier cluttering up the place. Then I came across the Nuaire Drimaster (heat). I didn't understand how this would work (I'm not technically minded). I read all the reviews on here and thought it sounded amazing. I felt we were taking a risk as it seemed expensive (to us) . I ordered the machine which arrived within 3 days. I then paid £150 to have it fitted. It took them about 3 hours. (It's in the loft) . Within ONE hour of switching it on there was a noticeable improvement. Condensation on all windows almost gone. We've got it on level 4. We get a tiny bit of condensation around the window ...but it IS negligible. I think that will probably go if we turn it up to 5. Our bedroom wall is drying out nicely (we've had the machine in 2 weeks now) and our bedroom is lovely and warm. We already had an extractor fan in the bathroom , which didn't work very well, but now when we have a shower the bathroom hardly fogs up at all! We had a power cut last night and we were worried about what would happen to the "Angel in the loft" (as I call it!). When the power came back on , it made a fair amount of noise (normally it's completely silent) , but after about a minute it just stopped and was working again perfectly normally (I'm guessing the noise was just it sort of "reving up"). This machine has impressed us soooooooo much. You cannot imagine the relief I feel to have solved this condensation problem. Well worth every single penny! If you have a big condensation problem, go and get one of these, they're AMAZING!
