The mask has a rich silk finish & provides a comfortable & relaxing feeling. Does a great job, especially if your partner has habit of keeping the lights on at night whilst reading. Would strongly recommend this product.

Seems good quality, but the band is too tight, tighter than masks by other brands tried from Amazon.

I like to wear an eye mask at night, as I find it helps me sleep. It’s good to know this one is pure silk as, having used silk masks before, I prefer not to wear anything else! Some eye mask fabrics cause irritation around the eyes.This one comes beautifully packaged, with care instructions included so it’s ideal to give as a gift to anyone who likes eye masks. It’s easy to hand wash at 30 degrees, and can be ironed, although I usually find a silk eye mask doesn’t need ironing.It feels silky and smooth to touch with soft padding, and it’s gentle and non-irritating on my face. I like the dark blue colour for sleeping, as it does an excellent job of blocking out light. I’ve found that light coloured masks allow some light to seep through, which is a nuisance at the crack of dawn on a bright summer morning!It’s shaped well around the nose, to help block light from below. However, the elastic that holds it in place isn’t adjustable, and it feels uncomfortably tight for me. It easily stretches from the minimum of 33cm to 54cm as stated, but the more it’s stretched the more pressure it puts on the eyes. I usually take a large hat size in women’s hats, so it would probably be more comfortable on someone with a smaller head than me. However, I would have preferred a sliding strap adjuster which has worked well on previous masks I’ve had.
