Amazon Brand – Rivet 9-Piece Southwest Bison Desert Mural Wall Art on Wood, 48" x 48"

I loved this so much!!! It was the first thing I added to my wish list and when I finally decided to buy it, I was not disappointed! I have received many compliments about this art work. 🖤

This piece of art is really so cool. It looks amazing on the golden-wheat colored walls in my guest room. And it's really versatile too because if the wall space is too small for the full 48 inches you can just utilize the bottom 6 squares and have a rectangular collage instead of a square one. I love the look of the wood-grain showing through just slightly. Love everything about it. The reason I dropped one star was because on our set one of the holes that is used for hanging it (these are notched into the back of the wood) was not cut exactly the same as all the other holes. We had measured all our marks very carefully and used a level to make sure the grid would look good, but that one square hung lower than the other three in its row. This was fairly easily fixed by stuffing a bit of tissue paper into the hanger hole. But it was off to the right a little bit too, so we then had to hammer our screw over a bit to make the square match up vertically. In the end it turned out fabulously and I'm so pleased with it. But a little more attention could have been given to perfecting the notches.

I opened this but haven’t hung it yet. It really does look like the picture. Parts of it are blurry, but it’s the perspective of the photograph (focusing on one image). It is fairly heavy. Each of the 9 pieces is a piece of solid wood. It is not cheaply made.

I like the design, it looks cool although it's a bit lighter than it appears online. But it is a total nightmare to install the nine pieces. You will lose your mind because even if you get it perfect with a level the holes aren't cut that well. So if you're not a patient person or if you are super perfectionist who cannot stand a mm of drift, then skip it. Really. Save yourself a hassle you're not in the mood to deal with.

Wonderful that they provided a template so that hanging it up on the wall was a breeze.

This is a beautiful image of a bison in his natural habitat. The colors are muted and the image overall is slightly blurred but the impact is no less for that.I had the same problem as another reviewer in that, having measured all my holes very carefully with a laser level, the pieces did not hang properly, and I had to do some adjusting. Not all the holes were equally tight either and one panel insists on leaning slightly instead of hanging properly. I will play around with some tissue in the hole and try to get it adjusted to where it needs to be.I left a half inch between boards. I would have preferred a full inch but the location required taking it down a half inch. I'm not sure I'd go over one inch.Despite the extra effort (it ended up taking me a couple of hours), I am very pleased with the result. It's a striking mural and immediately catches the eye upon entering the room. I would give it five stars but for the issue with the notches not all lining up precisely.
