Turtle Beach XLA Amplified Stereo Gaming Headset - Xbox 360

This headset is great, It's well made and has a really good feel to it. I noticed a big difference in sound quality and you can hear sounds that you've never heard before using this headset that you can't hear from your TV. It has good bass and you can hear people very clearly and people can hear you a lot better compared to using the standard Xbox headset. The headset itself is really comfortable (I've used these for 8-9 hours at a time) and it's easy to setup (though if you are using a HDMI Cable to play game's on you will need a AV adapter that you can buy for about £4.50 with a free HDMI Cable off Amazon or if you have a TV with audio out sockets you will just be able to plug it into there). The only problem I have with this headset is that it buzzes when I'm using my play and charge kit, but this isn't the headset's fault it's to do with the play and charge kit being plugged into the Xbox.My opinion is that they're really worth the money especially as I was hesitant to buy a headset at first because I thought it wasn't worth it but I was wrong and I'm really glad I bought a pair.

I purchased these after hearing good reviews around the Turtle Beach headsets but I didn't want to spend a large sum of money to decide if i wanted to keep them. I'm happy to say these were an excellent buy.After reading a few reviews on Amazon there was a few points made about the headset being comfortable but i'm happy to say I haven't had a problem. Other reviews have also stated that you needed the AV adapter but this isn't strictly true, you just need a TV with line out/RCA jacks in the back which the headphones can connect to - my XLA headset is hooked up this way. If you do need an AV adapter then Amazon sells them for around £5 which is hardly breaking the bank.The sound is crisp which surprised me as i thought it wouldn't pack a punch at this price. my only nag is that i'd prefer the bass to be a little deeper but that's persona preference, all games I've played with the headset have sounded great. The microphone is good and having a monitor to hear what your saying is a nice touch.Overall the XLA headset is well priced and great aulity. I've recommended these headphones to friends who have said the same to me after buying them, well worth it.

Bought these cause a friend recommended to me and I have to say as a devoted gamer, i never felt the need to get a set of game-play headsets as I have a impressive sound system, but (DAMN) the difference is definitely there.The sound is loud and very clear, look and style is great. A long connectivity cable allows you to move freely without any restrictions,Only downside for me (And that's just me) is that there is just not enough bass to compensate for the treble.Great product for just starters to get used to it as it is different especially playing games like (COD, MW),

Good headset, but annoyingly has problematic problems.There's lots of wires and there's a tiny little wire that goes into the controller and is easy to loose unless you look after it properly.If you want game sound on HDMI you need extra wires and other things, really annoying.If you don't want game sound then youre forced to only use the mic just to hear others and speak but can't hear the game audio which is frustrating. Other than that, great headset and good quality except the problematic issues with setting it up and other wires needed that doesn't come with the headset.

These headphones plug directly into the Xbox 360 controller, and as a result you only get to hear people talking, you loose all the in game sound. Seems a bit pointless to be honest, my son wants to chat with his friend while playing, but it means he can't hear what's happening in the game, which to me dramatically reduces the appeal.He had a much more expensive wireless headset, which had a box that connected to the Xbox 360 & sent a wireless signal to the earphones, this was great as you could talk & hear your game sound at the same time. Sadly those earphones had a faulty mike & he never got it working ( not having much luck!).

This headset was a gift to my wifeSadly this product didn't tick all the boxes for her as they did get uncomfortable after an hours use.The build quality is great and they are definitely durable, for the money they are great. Sound quality is average over both the microphone and headphones. A good improvement over the stock headset.For the money this is totally a good headset and an improvement over the stock xbox one. But after owning them for a while I think you would be thinking of upgrading again to a more comfortable and better sound quality headset.

I recently returned to gaming after an absence of about 4 years on the xbox 360. I decided that I wanted a head set but with the console no longer releasing any of the big titles I didnt want to spent too much. Overall very happy with this item. This is my first head set and the sound quality is extremely good and crisp. I'm hearing sounds I didnt know existed previously. The only thing to beware of is that if you have a HDTV you will need the HDMI audio adapter. I was unaware of this and had to subsequently order this item before I could use the headset

The only reason i would not rate 5 stars is in order to set the headset up with hd cables and have game sound through the headset you would need to purchase a seperate adapter.
