Tried 3 different iPhones, every time any audio plays through the phone speaker and not the cars! Tried the 3 phones 3 different times forgetting the carlinkit unit every time. Will be getting returned.Since posting this I’ve been hounded by the seller telling me I’m doing it wrong and can’t follow the instructions! On the surface the product seems to work. However, it’s soo laggy and buggy it’s just not worth the money. For something that is £80, you’d expect much better.The device setup took a couple of attempts to get it to register, then you need to do a software update which is quite slow.The interface is ran through the browser. So it’s clear there’s some cloud based mirroring here and that’s the problem, the lag is too much. It drops in and out of connection whilst driving and drains your phone battery if not using a dedicate sim, even whilst wirelessly charging.Avoid this one, I’m sending for a refund.
