Star Wars - Assault on Hoth Echo Base - Basic Figure - Major Bren Derlin

It's a little known fact that Major Bren Derlin was also a mail carrier... and a piggy bank and a semi-truck.

This guy was in one movie.One.Movie.While the overall sculpt is good, the choice of character seems to have been made as randomly as some "notable" others, such as Sio Bibble, Dex, and any two second cameo aliens in any Cantina on any planet. I like the thought of being able to completely recreate a scene, but at least print some of the expanded universe background information for these "second bananas". Otherwise, when the figure is played with, the child is liable to imagine the toy spouting out their one or two lines over and over like some lobotomized Pokemon.

This character is nicely sculpted and he said a few words while in Hoth. Painting is fine too.This action figure has about the same articulations of a 1980s action figure, but they added a single inclined axis rotation for the elbow, and a rotating glove. He does not have knee articulations. The character in the movie did not do any stunts or something that may required more poseability than it has. So articulations seem just fine.However if you plan to sit him down, he just can't as leg movement is limited by the plastic outfit.
