Good quality, very useful for electrical work/ drilling wall plates

This extension bar was used to drill a 25mm hole with the Irwin Blue Groove bit, driven by an impact driver to go through 12 inches of joist and beam. The Blue Groove bits seem to work better in my impact.I was concerned that the bar might not be up to the task being asked if it, but it helped drive the drill bits right through without issue. I had to back out the bits a couple of times to aid chip clearance, but the bar did its job. A few more holes later and the bar is still in one piece. It’s been used a number of times under similar circumstances and is still in one piece. So I’m very pleased.

Hard to review as it really does depend on what you are intending to use it for. It's long and shiny, standard 1/4 hex with a spring loaded magnetic bit holder. Perfect for getting in the back of cabinets or units. Ideal for overhead work, plasterboard and things low down. It is solid and heavy so not good for all day work unless you are using it mainly vertical stuff as your wrists will feel it. I use it with a 12v screwdriver. I would not trust it with an impact driver. So, perfect for some jobs but not all.

Had two of these for years used for screws, flat wood bits and even a 30mm auger bit no problem

Quality bit extension. Gets you to nearly anywhere and the locking mechanism is really good, if you put a bit of tape on the locking end you don't have to worry about losing bits in walls👍

Have been looking for a decent extension bar for some time. Stumbled across this and it’s blooming fantastic. Fingers crossed no more lost / sacrificial flat bits.
