Love the simple and elegant "hemstitched" border. The linen is a good weight. Seems like it will be durable, but not so heavy to be difficult to iron. Nicely boxed for gift-giving. I ordered "white" which is creamy enough to work with my white and off-white tableware -- not a stark white.

I love the quality and they add to the beautiful look of my table.

I am so happy the color shown was wrong, which looks like pink yet is called violet...and I was hesitant to buy due to that contradiction. Thankfully, it is neither; the color is a scrumptious mauve!! Love it...especially with my mulberry transferware plates! The linen is smooth, soft and pressed. I know these napkins will become even softer with use, as is the characteristic of linen, and ironing is an option as they will look great even wrinkled for a more casual look. Love the color & superb quality!! Received them extremely fast within 24 hrs.

The material is sturdy and beautiful and the color I got (red) looks just like online. I washed and dried according to instructions. The napkins shrank a little (that's ok) but were so wrinkled there is no way I could use them with company. Ironed, they look and feel brilliant. I know that wrinkling is a linen feature, but was hoping these would be less vulnerable to wrinkles as some modern linens wrinkle this (this one wrinkles a lot). These would be perfect if I always had an ironing board set up and ready to go in a separate room, (as it only takes 5 minutes to iron the whole set) but for me setting one up is a production, so I won't be ordering more.

These napkins are amazing! I have them in yellow and Navy. They are absolutely worth the money. They are smooth and wash up nicely. They look brand new after a good ironing and starching. Yes, linen takes some maintenance and work. But it’s so worth it! If you are opposed to ironing, don’t buy them.

the linen is a nice weight and they are nicely finished but the colour is more coral than shell pink
