TIME-SERTM8x1.25 thread repair kit #1812

Q: What size drill comes with 8mx1.25 kit? will these fix an 8m previously helicoiled hole? hc uses a 21/64 bit for their insert.

Drill included in kit is letter P .324 inches. This kit will not work if the hole was previously repaired with a helicoil you must use oversized kit Big-Sert p/n 5812 http://www.timesert.com/html/bigsert.html

Q: What keeps these from backing out when you remove the bolt?

Not sure how to best explain this...the time sert locks into the theads you make once its all the way seated into the counter bore you make. Trust me...if installed properly, the sert unthreading is not something you need to worry about. Ive had the same one in my quads oil drain bolt for over a year with no issues.

Q: My tap for this set broke. where can i get a replacement since it's not a standard size tap? kit 1812

What size tap handle do I need for this 1812 kit? Will a 1/4" to 1/2" tap handle be sufficient? (8mm = 0.315" but I can't tell how big the the tap is)
