Very good, but not quite as good as the pro version
This works far better than cheap bits, especially in hardwood. But it is more expensive and not quite as good as the pro Bosch bit, with the serrated edge.

Clean cut drill bit.
Only used the bit to cut into normal chipboard door, after having bought a new washing machine with the hinges in slightly different places.Used a battery powered hand-drill, but, using this bit, managed to cut a neat, sharp-edged, hole. The bit shaves the wood away at a relatively shallow angle, so you can control the depth you're drilling easily.Used Ronseal High Performance Wood Filler to fill the old holes, in case you find you doing similar. which I'm also happy to recommend.

It does the job but you have to press very hard.
I am disappointed with this hinge hole drill, I expected better from Bosch. I think the centre point is the problem, it's too big and takes a lot of pressure to drill out hinge hole.I have 30 years experience as a kitchen fitter, I have used better for less money.

Quality Drill Bit that will last.
Stayed away from the cheap steel bits and went for this tungsten one and after drilling several cupboard door holes the thing is just as sharp as when I started. When you weigh up how much it costs (time and effort too) to replace your cupboard doors when holes are bored out badly then skimping on a cheap drill bit isn't worth it. This is dearer but good quality. It centres well and then boring out the hole is effortless (as it should be).

Just the job
I needed to fit a door to an integrated washing machine and this tool did it perfectly. Lots of reviewers say that they use a battery drill for the job but not being totally confident that I wouldn't drill right through the front of the door I did it on a radial drill at my work. With the radial I could set the depth and and drill the perfect hole. Less than a tenner to do the job when I would have been so much more to get a joiner to do the job. I class myself as being fairly good with my hands and it was easy.

Excellent quality
My husband bought this to go with the router I bought him. Unfortunately it doesn't fit and we thought there might be some adapter to be able to use it, but we're unable to find out

Good reliable piece, recommended
I may say i was very sceptical at first when it came to buying this product because i didn't think i would be able to do the job and rather call in a carpenter. But times are hard and i thought id have a go myself. To my surprise this tool really was great, i was able to cut the exact size hinge hole needed. I recommend this to any one wanting to fix your cabinets up themselves , you'll save a lot of money, believe it.Asalamu alakum

Did exactly what I needed
Bought to cut a new 35mm hole for a blum hinge attachement in a kitchen chipboard door that fell off. A little hard to get the drill straight, but you can buy a guide for this if needed, but this bit was perfectly sharp enough to cut through the chipboard in no time and allowing me to easily fix the door.Perfect tool for the job
