Really really disappointed
It sucks to say but the first two stories which make up 2/3 of the book are really, really bad. Like, abysmally bad. They don't fit with the universe at all and are borderline nonsensical -- the first story is about a Jerry who beats up Rick, and then takes over the Citadel of Ricks to dominate the universe... If you've watched the series, you'll understand how crazy that sounds! The Tiny Rick story isn't that long as well but it's funny and in-character, which is the only good bit here. If I knew it was like this I probably wouldn't have bought this book. :-(

Entertaining, amusing, uplifting and cheering after a fashion. Recommended.
Excellent, this is one longer story accompanied by a number of shorts, of which the cover art story is in fact one, and some bonus shorts.Like the other books I have read (Vol. 1, Vol. 2, Vol. 3. Vol. 4, only just now found out that there were Vol. 6 and Vol.7 available) this is a great one, I highly recommend it to fans of the TV show, its the perfect thing to have while waiting on another episode to become available or while they are working on another season of episodes (its a great show to binge watch and rewatch since there is a lot of rapid dialogue back and forth, its easy to miss something and there isnt time for a "wait, what?!", pause for thought, as it is too fast paced). All the main characters from the show are represented here, Morty, Rick and Summer are the main featured characters going on adventures besides the main, headline story which is arguably a Gerry story, and one of the shorts is called Rick and Beth, for obvious reasons, the plot lines are much like the TV show, in the title story and one of the shorts some of the content is a bit shocking, though like the show they dont dwell upon this, its quickly on to the next panel or story. Compared to the other books I think the dialogue in this one is not as good as the others, it could be a highly subjective judgement, its not bad in the least but I did not feel that the voice of the characters was as identifiable with the show as in other volumes of the comic. Still very good and easily as good as much of what is available on the comics book market these days. Entertaining, amusing, uplifting and cheering after a fashion. Recommended.
