Helps heal my insertional Achilles tendonitis
I have a medium-high arch and have been struggling with insertional Achilles tendonitis off and on for the last year. I think one of the causes (in addition to playing tennis) is that I would walk around the house in just socks, and that when I did wear something on my feet in the house (like Crocs), it wasn't helping enough and didn't have enough arch support.I am working on improving my footwear to have more arch support but with enough cushioning that the arch supports aren't too stiff and don't hurt my feet. That was my problem before with arch inserts--they hurt! And they didn't give much shock absorption. But that's because the shoes I used them in didn't have enough cushioning. I know better now.To wear around the house, I tried on Oofos slides in a store and didn't want to pay that much ($60). And they seemed to drop my heel too much. That's not good for AT. Tried on Nike, Adidas, slides etc. Nothing was right. Decided to try these from Amazon for $14 and I love them! They are magical! I just ordered a second pair to store for later in case these stop being made.I wear them anytime I don't have regular shoes on. They give me plenty of cushioned arch support and absorb shock really well. It is firm enough to be supportive, but not too stiff.I also got new insoles from Amazon to wear in my skechers sneakers, and I bought a pair of casual Kuru shoes. All of these interventions are working. My heels are not super painful after walking a mile or more. They feel pretty good when I get up in the morning. I don't need to ice them after cutting the grass with a battery push mower. I think I'll be back to playing tennis in a couple weeks, which I'm thrilled about!I do find that I have to wear socks with these or my feet get too sweaty and slip around in them.

Supportive, great quality
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I've been looking for an orthopedic supportive slide, to wear around the house. My old slippers were literally hurting my feet. These fit great and are comfortable offer a great support.

No extra room for size
Why did you pick this product vs others?:So far, I like these sandals. I ordered my normal size, 8 woman which they come in 8 / 8.5 and they just fit. If you like them with a little extra room, I’d size up or order a different sandal. They are comfortable to me and have good traction for a sandal.

Much better than flip flops
I wear them every day at home and they never hurt my feet like flip-flops used to.

Too narrow, but good arch support.
I wear a true 10.5 wide shoe in women's for reference. These are a touch narrow. I had high hopes because they are unisex that they would be touch wider than regular women's, but no go. They do not stretch either. I had someone with bigger feet wear them for a while to see if they would stay stretched like a different pair I have, they don't. That's a plus for some folks; they snap right back. They do have good arch support for a foam sandal, that's what the 3 stars are for. I gave them away since they were worn for a while in an attempt to stretch them. You can push your foot through them, but it is hard to keep them on and will dig into the top and side of your foot at the strap part.

Runs wide.
I liked these sandals. Seemed to be of good quality. But they were just to wide, nd I'm a medium width. I had to return them.
