Brilliant book
Excellent recepies, particularly like the fact that there are desserts as well as mains. Already made about 8 of the recepies and all turned out really well and tasted great. Such a time saver if you don't have a lot of time to spare in the kitchen

Recipes don’t work
Recipes require too much liquid, and stews end up like soups.Mistakes in fish recipes - they are 1-2 hr long, but it you cook chopped onion in a slow cooker for that time, they will still be crunchy, not cooked through.Some flavours too strong - beef stroganoff for instance.Indications are loose: “1 or 2 tsp of paprika”. 1 or 2? That’s double.

A good recipe book for those on a low carb Keto diet.
A nice easy to read recipe book with straight forward instructions that is well illustrated. I found the conversion tables particularly useful. The advice on sugar alternatives and chocolate is very good, as is the advice on what to stock up on if going on a low carb diet. There's lots of very good recipes and they are well categorised - soups, meat/chicken and vegetarian main dishes and an excellent section on low carb desserts for those of us with a sweet tooth.This book is great value for money and means you can finally put to good use the energy saving slow cooker languishing in the cupboard - and get the benefits of a low carb diet. A great slow cooker recipe book even if you don't follow a low carb lifestyle
I have this book myself as I do follow a low carb lifestyle. The recipes are simple, clear and delicious.In fact I've bought 2 more copies for friends who have recently started to use a slow cooker and they love it too, even though one of them isn't a low carber!

Small and neat book.Loads of tasty recipes.Not too big to keep on worktop.Good value.
