I used sniffing salts for my 4th ever strongman show. I wanted some oomph for the final event. They were plenty oomphy to the point that 4 others asked to use them in my competition.

You must add water. I smelled and kinda burnedMy nose and throat for 2 days.

Highly suggest NOT buying this. It's lost it potency in less than a week. Highly disappointed.

Brought it to camp for the other adults and we had fun with it!

It is not a very potent smell coming from the powder. I don't "burn" as the strong ones do. It does help open up airways and get slightly hyped up. Honestly, this should be a 3 star but giving it a 4 since it's a newer product and don't want to lower you to a 2.5.

My primary goal in picking up these smelling salts was to see how they aided in weightlifting. My impression of these is that they are rather potent in the beginning and you definitely want to keep them at the recommended distance of 6 inches away during the initial days. The smell afterwards though is... inconsistent (if that's possible). There were days where I couldn't determine if there was a smell, and others where after a shake of the bottle it yielded decent potency after a few moments. Regardless though, I'd maintain the recommended distance from your nasal passages when using this product. I made the mistake of placing it too close last month (because I couldn't pick up on the actual smell) and found myself incapacitated for about 5 minutes when it finally decided to work - and hit me full blast. It's like the smell is only partially there at times, which isn't helpful when relying on it for weightlifting.In terms of effectiveness, I found this product somewhat effective when used prior to weight lifting - i.e. it helped increase my oxygen intake and I noticed a minor uptick in my stamina. Overall though I can't tell if they worked, and the smell inconsistency made it difficult to determine effectiveness as well. I debated giving this 2 stars, but elected on giving 3 stars since it was slightly effective when it worked.
