yes it will just be careful as it is not terribly hard plastic and will strip the threads

It depends on the water source and water flow from the tap, I pulled about 5psi on my bar sink, which is the sink I use the most, I connected it to the laundry tub faucet and pulled about 10psi hope this helps

Can I hook a garden hose to the outlet that flows while you vacuuming the tank?

No, the outlet just flows into the sink. There is no way to hook a garden hose up to it. Of course you can hook a garden hose up to the intake on the side to vacuum out the tank.

can this be used to siphon water out of an above ground pool using 2 hoses?

yes but it will waste a lot of water as it uses the water from the hose to pull water out of pool. so it would be about half and half
